I'm a bit gutted this morning as I have STS :( but at least it's not a gain, I am really constipated due to codine, and I haven't been for a number 2 properly for days now, so think maybe that is part of the reason why???????[/QUOTE]

I would imagine it is. are you able to take a break from the coedine for 24 hours in order to shift it, and/or are you allowed to take senakot? Even with a double dose of lactulose, just one dose of coedine sets me back 48 hours! Its the pits isn't it :( Senakot is the only thing I have found to work on me.

I've tried the peppermint ones, i had them when i had tummy issues to help calm it - not keen really! Are the fruity ones a bit sweeter?

I love honey, lemon and ginger when i make it myself when i have a poorly throat so i thought these ones would make a good start. Just disappointing really, i thought they'd be nicer! :rotfl:

i'll get a variety pack and see if i can find one i like.. thanks 1jim

If you like honey in them then the twinings honey, calmoline and.. vanillia(?) one is lovely :T not as strong as adding honey to your drinks mind, but still got that bit of sweetness to it. I leave my t-bags in all my fruit teas because I like them nice and strong.

I think they smell nicer than they taste to be honest but I dont mind them now

Whilst I like them now, they are a bit of acquired taste, and I agree about smelling better than they taste sometimes! I used to think they tasted of hot water until i added sugar then they magically tasted of fruit... :rotfl:

    sweet s

I get the twinings ones, and put lemon juice & sweetener in.......nope it doesnt taste tea like at all - more like a wierd lemonadey thing (just make sure you dont leave the tea bag in more than 2 min OR use boiling water or it goes bitter ;))

Thanks for the tip dizzyk, that is probably why I didn't like green tea when I tried it.:(

yesterday I asked about olive oil sprays instead of frylight, Ive come across an advert in this edition of sw magazine which says the Filippo Bero range has 2 cals per spray or less, the food optimising book says that any spray with 2calories or less per spray is free. Hope this helps someone
I looked it up online last week and it says 4 sprays = 1 syn
I plan to move over to this after my frylight is used up

Well i think ive been good so far, havnt got round to planning my meals but still coping. lol.

Does anyone know how much the latest food directory is or if they are bringing a new one out?
Mines the 2008/9 one probably a bit old now...?

Hope you all have a good day.
    xx

there is a new 2011 directory out now. I got it last week and it was £7.50

I was rather naughty yesterday. i was doing well until i went to morrisons while hungry and grabbed a box of apple danishes which were reduced :o. I ate both of them too!!
I did try to make up for it by having fish with a huge pile of swede mash (a whole bag of pre diced swede all to myself!)for dinner and a whole punnet of cherries too.

    todays food ee;

b - ff yogurt with blueberries added, 1 alpen light(1/2 heb)
    l - mattessons fridge raiders (2.5), 1 alpen light (1/2 heb)
    snack - 2 babybels (hea)

dinner - i have a couple of sausages that need using up which are 5 syns each so i might do those with an ainsley cous cous to keep just in my syns

i have never had those fridge raider things before but they were half price so i thought i would give them a go as they are low syn

    Morning Morning Lovelies

    ..............................................................................

Physio again for me today:( seems very hard work after a months break, the balance stuff is not so bad.....Im making steady improvements there :) but the head movement ones are making me awful sick - I wasnt doing anything very active when we were away and my brain has forgotten what it learnt :( back to the drawing board *sigh* and got to do them at home 4 times a day in between to re train myself not to throw up when I move my head too quick again.

    Be good you lot.....onwards & downwards :A

Aww, poor you dizzy, I really admire the way you seem to just smile, laugh and then stick two fingers up at whatever life throws at you .................. that is a compliment by the way, Hope WI is kind to you. XXX

thanks lo, I'm doing ok ta. 5lb down this month so far!
I love adapting recipes and experimenting - most of the time I just replace ingredients with low fat alternatives.
(I can't believe the amount of oil that goes into Jamie and Nigella's recipes sometimes!)
But it does mean my poor OH gets some bizzare dinners when it all goes wrong! :rotfl:He always smiles and pretends to like whatever I make though!! (think he's just glad he didnt have to cook!)
