I just made a well lush dinner! This is on a green day but you dont have to HE the bacon on EE.

Bacon (heb), mushrooms, garlic, fried in a pan, stired in 42g philly light (3syn), added cooked wholemeal spaghetti , cooked through, served with 1/2 Hea cheese.
sounds great , will have a go
what about , puting the phily light in half a tub of quark over night as it will then change into it , and you have only used 3 syn for the whole lot , i use it to make my money go further .
I put laughing cows in it overnight
    mayo light
    houseraddish
garlic & herb philly or chives philly
    options - any
it takes the flavor of what ever you put in it , but it must been left overnight
  • I'm back. It hasn't taken long to realise how much I DISLIKE the new website. Not only is it slow and often refuses to let us in ... there's no direct link from the home page to syns etc, and I cannot see mention of a Hall of Fame anywhere. Also, for a company making so much money they don't refresh the featured recipes very often, that brown  fruit compote has been on the Coffee Break pages for weeks (yup, I even looked on the Coffee Break pages for hall of fame!)

Hi - I seem to be getting onto the web site OK so far.... there is a quick link to syns online in the bottom right side and the Hall of Fame is under Inspiration and support, that opens up a small menu bar below the main one and it is there! I'm slowly getting used to it!
    :)
NO EXCUSES - THIS YEAR IT'S PERSONAL..........

  • Hi all

Rejoined group last night - good job according to the scales :(
Always used to do green days as i am bit of a carb freak but obviously they are really plugging the EE. Do all snacks have to be superfree foods? Bit confused.
Also can anyone tell me about the HE details online. just registered and trying to look at healthy B cereals but the field isnt big enough to read the whole line!! Am i being thick or is it a big tease? Says i can have my lovely oatso simple porridge plus 1........ 1 what? it runs out of room.

    thanks
:wall:Trying to get a grip

And I too had a blowout this week - last Wednesday. WI night is always a treat for us so I had chicken nuggets and chips from the chippie. Worked out exactly how many syns I had eaten, and adjusted my weekly allowance accordingly so I was actually allowed 10 syns per day instead of 15. I've been around 5 for each day of the week since then, and also been at the gym four times and the Wii once. I feel like I've worked damn hard this week, not touched a drop of booze (my biggest poison) and got firmly back on track. Fingers crossed for tonight, I'll be pretty disappointed if I haven't lost anything.

    6lb off. Earned that!

3 stone 12lbs in total since July 21st, happy with that and determined to get my 4 stone award next week.
Whatever doesn't kill me, can only make me stronger.

Fitorbust - are you an online member? I'm a group member and I can't see the hall of fame link under the Inspiration & Support tab on my screen!

bettyB - I adapted this Nigella recipe to be SW friendly. I used lasagne sheets instead of the tortillas, and cheddar cheese instead of goats. I only put cheese on the top not in the bean layer so it works out as an HEA and no syns for the portions I had.
aaah I thought that might have been it - I got her book for Xmas - I luuuurve nigella so much but her food is sooo fatty! I usually avoid the SW recipes and just adapt my old faves tho, so thanks for the tips on how to SW this recipe, saved me the job! :D I was thinking of doing it with slices of potato instead of the tortillas.

I think that's a flaw with the website, very annoying when they do that.

I can't seem to find the hall of fame despite everyone's suggestions, but well done dontknowanymore for getting in there :T
