    Hmmm HMMMMM.

Overspending last month, overspending this month already (too much drinking involved, oppsy). I have put £150 into savings to make £10k. I aim to put in £300 this month but not sure if this is happening. At the moment, it is not.

    Congrats on reaching £10k! :D

Just added £133.32 into my bond. So upto £700 now. Its away so i cant waste it. Hopefully il still have some money left after getting a few xmas pressies and i can add an extra £100 on the 23rd, the day before my next pay. My pay on the 24th is my usual fortnight+2 weeks holiday pay and as soon as that goes in im going to put away whatever i need to make it upto £1k. A good starting point for 2010 :)
Work in progress...Update coming July 2012.

Transferred £400 from my VSP challenge so £420 has gone into the ISA this month and I'm now just £430 away from my £10k savings goal!

Congrats everyone who has reached, or is on the way to reaching their goal. I've just hit my first goal of 20k! Not bad considering 3 years ago I had 7K's worth of debt.

I now have 7k in savings, and 13k in shares (Initial investment 5k) with it looking to skyrocket next year if things go well.

Congrats! :D Even more impressive given the level of debt that you used to have!

This is turning into quite an expensive December fior me, but I am hanging on in there and should still exceed £30k. Just need to keep focused!!

Well done to everyone, especially those who have come from a high level of debt to a high level of savings. You should be very proud.

Natwest have just overhauled their online banking site and I'm loving the new savings Goal feature.

Every time I see it say "You won't achieve your goal" it annoys me and I transfer some more money over. :)

  • that's a great idea!!! I hope HSBC or EGG will have something like that as all my savings is there....
