I am now up to £1000 so only £600 off my May goal of £1600.
However, my savings is purely so that I can pay my insurance off in one go and pay for flights to see my uncle so some will be coming out next month. I may put this next to it so I can see in real time what's happening with the money :rotfl:0 -
Natwest have just overhauled their online banking site and I'm loving the new savings Goal feature.

Every time I see it say "You won't achieve your goal" it annoys me and I transfer some more money over.
I wish my bank had this! the house photo would motivate me.. sad I know.. haha0 -

Well had £69.09 in my wallet, so decided to pay £19.09 off my loan and put £50 into my ISA(which was at £00.00
) So now savings are upto £750 and its not payday until next Thursday. Iv set up a goal through my online banking to have £4,000 in there by the 1st of October 2010. Which is all i can put in i think? Il need to keep some money in my account for mot in march(wont be cheap) and my insurance is due in June(about £700 - an extra years driving, years no claims + a year older)
Target for the start of December 2010 is really to have -
£4k in ISA - currently £50
£1k in current account - currently £0(incase i need it, want to have it at £1k but treat it as £0, meaning i cant spend anything to make my balance go below that unless absolute nessesary.
Have absolute no debt - Currently just over £1600 owed intrest free
£3.5k in savings account(Barnsley bs 1 year bond currently got £700 in it, matures in November, will open one of the top paying savings accounts when the time comes but with accsess if needed.
These are bare minimums
So a difference of £9,350 to be paid off from loan/saved/used as emergancy fund in current account.Work in progress...Update coming July 2012.

I am well chuffed. Comparison websites just saved me £240 on my car insurance renewal quote, and I'll get a further £70 cashback through Quidco! (Should get a little more than that, as I did a few quotes with Go Compare, confused etc. through there which are 50p - £1.50 each). And the excess is £50 lower.
That's cheered me up

Also, the Natwest thing is really cool. I just played about with it a bit. I'll have to tweak it when I put money elsewhere, as I've linked it to my E-Saver, which holds any surplus funds that don't fit in my ISA and aren't being used to fly around the place topping up regular savers. It says I won't reach my goal, I'm £48 short each month... I can do it
