I have a mac and i'm gay but don't worry guys i dont think it was the mac that turned me...
Dippykitty - I'm in the same position as you, almost saved my £3600 for next year so need somewhere good to put the overflow. To be honest I've been putting some in to premium bonds, I know that's not popular around here but rates are so low everywhere and just imagine if I win! (Probability never was a strong point of mine.)0 -
I'm expecting this month that mine and the girlfriends savings will go through the £50k mark which will be lovely. Its a nice figure!0

I read this earlier: http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/2009/jan/18/recession-banking
It's pretty terrifying, and I was wondering - does anyone have some or all of their money in a euro bank account? I wonder if it might be worth moving some money in to one. I've had a look and Nationwide seem to do quite a good one where your cash is held in Euros instead of sterling. Any thoughts?0 -
