    Dippykitty - I'm in the same position as you, almost saved my £3600 for next year so need somewhere good to put the overflow. To be honest I've been putting some in to premium bonds, I know that's not popular around here but rates are so low everywhere and just imagine if I win! (Probability never was a strong point of mine.)

    Thanks! Hoping we should have about £51,000 between us. Wont know until my payslip arrives as its never 100% what overtime we will get each month.

    It's pretty terrifying, and I was wondering - does anyone have some or all of their money in a euro bank account? I wonder if it might be worth moving some money in to one. I've had a look and Nationwide seem to do quite a good one where your cash is held in Euros instead of sterling. Any thoughts?

    That is very impressive rob. 39k at 22! Im 22 and i have 6.5k towards my deposit!
