Over the past week ING Direct has been working with the Administrators of Kaupthing Edge to clear a backlog of payment instructions that were not able to be completed when Kaupthing Edge encountered difficulties.
While we have now processed over 95% of these payments, I am sorry to inform you that we are still working on a number of manual payment instructions, including the withdrawal request that you have made.
I do understand that the continuing delay is frustrating and I wanted to reassure you that my team is working with the Administrators to resolve the outstanding payment issues.
I appreciate your continued patience and I will contact you again shortly to confirm when the payments will be made.

Sorry, I screwed up with the posting, none of my writing came out! Er, what I said was that I'd received an email from ING today, saying my transfer is one of the 5% that hasn't been completed yet!! I'm guessing yours falls into the same category, moneysavingwannabe. I find it strange that mine is showing in my account balance though! Im getting myself into a tight spot at the minute - Althoughmy entire savings with Icesave have been announced as being safe - I am potentially losing Interest income of £200 a month. If it takes the full 3 months (on the FSA) then i will have a shortfall of £600. My Christmas Is looking wonderful... Again!!! I'm not looking forward to Valentines either.Had £80,000 in Savings - All GONE!!! BYE BYE:A Single, 27, Aspie, Gooner :A0
