    Morning,

Hope you all enjoyed your evenings lastnight

We stayed up and watched Jools Holland which was FAB :T, went to bed at 1.24am, was woke by Molly the Bull Terrier wanting to go out at 2.15am, then DD2 woke shouting "Come back Kanan, Come Back Kanan" (DD1 is at my mums), at 3.30am DS wanted some milk..
Eventually went into slumber land and was up at 7.20am with DS. So to say i'm slightly tired would be an understatment .

Low carbing from today ;), have weighed ourselves this morning, the shock woke me up very swiflty .

Am not dressed yet and am not doing anything today. Stew is in the SC for tonight already ;).

Welcome all newbies , great to "see" some new faces :D

    Have great days xx

    Morning All

jc273 - you could ring nhs direct up for advice. I've always found them very good. Hope he feels better soon.

Happy New Year everyone. I was up to see the new year in. Not many fireworks but so many chinese lanterns. We were counting them as they sailed past the window.

DD has just arrived home ( and gone straight to bed) she is working at 3pm so will need some sleep.

    Not much planned for today.

Enjoy the day whatever your plans. Molly and Bitsy take care with your backs.

    Morning

Have already managed to up date my bank accounts on MS Money so that I know exactly where I am at the beginning of the year.

Need to walk doglet if it stops raining and make some naan bread in the BM with some reduced yoghurt I bought on Thursday.

    Have a good day all

Good afternoon and a Happy New Year to you all :)

Another year done and dusted and a new one to look forward to :j I hope it will be good to everyone :)

Didn't go to bed until after 2 then was up at 6, so has been a slow morning, however, it has given me a chance to do a stock-take on how things are and to come up with some plans, which will hopefully make things easier for us all.

OS keeps having to take a back seat but it needs to have more of a priority so I'm back here posting today :o

Bed sheets have been changed and the WM is on the go. I read on here that it has been suggested that it's bad luck or something, to use the WM today ?? I've never heard that before hence it will be in use for most of the afternoon.

The Christmas tree is still up, so need to think about taking it down at some point. The room always looks bare afterwards though :(

Today we will be making pasta rather than using the dried shop bought stuff. No idea how it will turn out as we have never made it before, but hopefully it will be good. A nice hm bolognese will go with it, along with some garlic bread slices.

For lunch, I have a chicken and sweetcorn soup in the SC, so the girls can help themselves when they are feeling hungry.

That's all for now. Hopefully today's post will be the first of many and we can enjopy an OS 2011

Whatever you're doing today, hope it turns out to be a good one for you :)

    Morning Troops

Happy New Year!! Just up half an hour ago - didn't go to bed til 4.30, you sassenachs are lightweights :rotfl: (says the woman who had one can of cider the whole night) I had a disaster with the wineI bought in Mr T, I thought I'd bought a Pinot Grigio, I read the label, then reached up and picked up another bottle from the shelf and somehow picked up a completely different wine. OH opened it, poured it, then shouted "you've got red wine so see in the Bells?" Now I love red wine, but it does peculiar things to me, and I din't want to take the chance, so a can of Magners it was. :) The wine will go to MILs today with me. We watched Hootenany, then 80's TOTP and then I'm not sure what as I was texting everyone I know! OH is still asleep and the boys - who lasted until 2.15 - were up with me.:D

Plan for the day is to go to MILS for the day/evening, take dinner with us, and have a drink with SIL. OH was drinking last night so I'll drive up and he can drive home tonight, after spending the day drinking coke.

My resolutons for the year are many.

The most important one is to stop swearing, I've found it creeping into my vocabulary more and more these last couple of years and I hate it, the odd word is OK but I am definitely using too much. Think I'll invest in a swear box.

Then its to regain control of my weight, I have probably half my body weight to lose, which is shocking and embarrassing to admit, and after being ill in 2010, I regained all the loss I had accomplished.

Lastly its to have a clutter free home. I have too much crap and need to learn to let go of possessions, because actually they don't really mean anything.

I hope you all have a wonderful day today, and that 2011 brings us all happiness and health.

    Morning everyone

Happy new year to you all. Tried to post on Nye but threw me out for some reason.

Went to a party at the village hall last night, there was a show, disco, party games and lovely buffet. We could take our own drink which meant it was a reasonable night and could walk home. What a great evening, ds2 didn't want to go home. I only woke this morningjust after 11!!

Os today is not alot. I am on day 1 of giving
up the evil weed, so may do some knitting or cross stitch to keep my hands busy. Really want to suceed this
    time.

Enjoy the rest of your day. Hugs to anyone that needs/wants one. Take care.
