Gawd Blimey had to give it a miss today  Was heading up the stairs this morning to get ready and my calf muscle was really tight!! OH ordered me not to do the dvd today and I actually agreed!! Can't risk pulling a muscle again so I'll see how it is tomorrow. This 30 days will turn into 30 years at this rate... I'm itching to get to lvl 2 just to see how painfull it is
Well done to everyone still going :TEven if you stumble, you're still moving forward.0 -
i gave level 2 a go today, halfway through i was thinking 'oh this isnt that much harder than level 1'. about 30 seconds after that point i realised that it was in fact much harder!
will have to see how i feel tomorrow but i will stick with level 2 now i think i need the challenge and also ive not got long till my holiday!

I have to say I think level 2 gets easier quicker than level one I did day 4 today and I could do all the exercises apart from the second set of squat v things which I had to reduce weight again but honestly noticing the difference know my legs are definately firmer my arms are looking more toned!!!!0

Everyone's doing so well! I think doing more cool down exercises is a good tip - otherwise those squats are a killer the next day!
I've just done my second day of level 2 - phew! I normally 2kg weights, but can hardly use them at all at the mo!
Is it just me or is the actual 20 minutes exercise easier than the willpower required to get my trainers on and do it?
2KG!!!!!!! WOW, You can do those side squat arm raise things on lvl1 with 2KG weights? I'm seriously impressed with that. My MIL gave me her 2KG weights and I didn't even bother trying... got myself some 1KG's and theres no way I can keep the pace with the trainers on the dvdMy arms feel like they're being ripped out lol.
I agree that it's pretty difficult actually getting my trainers on to get started. My problem is the pain I know I'll feel afterwards :rotfl:
Today I turned the sound down and put some music on instead, gawd I can't stand the way she witters on, she doesn't motivate me at all. She just makes me want to scream and sling my weights at her  Other than that I'm actually ejoying it more than I expected.Even if you stumble, you're still moving forward.0 -
Just finished day 4 on level one. It kills my arms, and my knees are knacked! Can already see a difference in my arms, so can't wait to see how they look by day 30, if I live that long!Debt free as of July 2010 :j

Hi everyone
I'm a bit dissapointed with myself this morning. I tried lvl 2 and only got half way through the 2nd circuit. The muscle in my calf felt really tight and I was too scared to carry on. I'm pretty sure I would of pulled it again so just gave up.
Now I'm not sure what to doMaybe give it a break over the w/e and see how monday goes (back to lvl1) I'm not sure how long it takes for a pulled muscle to fix properly and tbh it's felt pretty tight even when I'm walking to the shop and back. I might of answered that question myself and it'd be best to leave well alone until I can walk without feeling the tightness.
I'll probably stick to some easy stuff on the Wii Fit for a bit
Hope the sun is shining for everyone today, it's lovely atm :cool:Even if you stumble, you're still moving forward.0 -

My knees are officially knacked. Can't do any jumping jacks or jump rope cos they hurt too much. It even hurts to go up the stairs! Thought it was just cos I do no other exercise, and that it would get better. 7 days in and it's worse. Maybe my technique is wrong? Anybody else with the hurty knees??Debt free as of July 2010 :j

Have you made sure that when you bend your knees for any of the moves that your knee doesnt come any further forward than your foot? i.e. that your knee should ideally be in line with your mid-foot area so that you sit back more? i know that it is really bad for your knees if you rock forward further than that because essentially then your full body weight is only being supported by your knees.
i hope your knees feel a bit better tomorrow after a rest!Car Boot Queen!!
