  • Hi Guys - I really pushed the boat out and did level 1 and level 2 this morning, feel absolutely shattered......just going to have 40 winks! Good news though I've lost an inch off each thigh, not lost much weight but happy with the inch loss. Long may it continue! xx
  • wow well done Maryland Cookie!! both levels in one day- you must be mad! i had a day off today and i'm going hillwalking tomorrow so will go back on the shred monday. think i'm going to stick with the full 10 days on level one before moving up, but i'll see how it goes this week. inch loss is a better gauge i think as weight can be affected by muscle, whereas inch loss shows! ive not bothered getting any scales or weighing myself for years, its more to do with how your clothes fit for me :)
makes you realise that its a great dvd to keep hold of for those times when you need to tone up a bit i.e. a month before holiday or wedding etc.

i've done day 4 now, and i've got to say overall it does start to hurt less! hurrah! still struggling with the press ups and also the first combination of jumping jacks followed by 'jump rope' is a killer! major lower leg burn! but the great thing is that i can feel that it is making a difference already! so keep with it everyone, we will get through it and our clothes will fit better! :)
not going to redo measurements until tomorrow so i only measure once a week (hope it doesnt disappoint!).

OMG thank god I'm not the only one :o it's flippin horrible!!

I done 3 days last week and have to admit it was definatley getting easier on day 3. Right on the last set of jump rope I pulled a muscle in my right calf so spent the w/e shuffling up and down the stairs on my bum hehe.

Started again today and was pretty amazed how hard it was after only 3 days off :o Off to try and find my tape measure now and hopefully will get some measurements up soon.

One more thing, it seems to go really fast. I know it's only 20 minutes but it seems to fly by. Gonna try and get some better weights later :D

    Edit to add measurements

    Waist. 29.5
    Hips. 38
    Thigh. 24.5

Flippin eck got to sort those hips out, eek!!
Even if you stumble, you're still moving forward.

i've done day 6 and it STILL burns the calves- i wonder if you ever get used to that part??!
that pulled muscle sounds painful :(
the 20 minutes definitely does go quickly though doesnt it, i love the bit where she says 'final circuit' and you know youre nearly there :)
might go up a level on wednesday i think...

i have found it hurts alot less the following day if you do more cool down exercises after the dvd
i do 10 minutes on the wii fit balance games to stretch everything out some more. it really helps!!

Well done VICSH, I'm too scared to attempt Level 2 and have a terrible cold so no shredding being done at all at the moment. Gutted as was starting to see a difference so back to Day 1 for me once cold gone.

Everyone's doing so well! I think doing more cool down exercises is a good tip - otherwise those squats are a killer the next day!

I've just done my second day of level 2 - phew! I normally 2kg weights, but can hardly use them at all at the mo!

Is it just me or is the actual 20 minutes exercise easier than the willpower required to get my trainers on and do it? :o
