I have done level 1 4 times - but I've really been struggling to fit it in so have only really done it once a week (with 2 exercise classes between).

Anyway - trying to focus now! 9 weeks to the wedding and I need to get my bingo wings in shape! They're really the only thing that I want to change. I had a huge downer when trying on dresses because they're so exposed - I felt that everything would look so much better if my arms were a few inches smaller. So that is my aim, and hopefully seeing improvements will spur me on.

So I did level 2 this morning (as I could follow Natalie and do all reps on level 1). Wowsers it hurt! I think it's partly because I'm just not used to doing those kind of exercises. Everyone has done star jumps before, but these movements make my head spin just thinking about them! Hopefully my balance will improve! I was also making real panting and groaning noises during the V lift exercises! Normally suffer in silence!

Will I get up tomorrow morning though...that is the question!

And is it *really* cheating if I do level 1 tommorrow? Slap my wrist now - already looking for an excuse!

Oh - and I've bought the zumba wii game as looks fun - will let you know what I think when it arrives!

I can totally sympathise with you on all of this!

I've done level 2 5 or 6 times now I think, and it was only yesterday that I managed to keep up and follow every repetition. I found level one fine and could follow Natalie too.

I find the shoulder press with leg extensions the worst one I think. Can usually manage the first set, but the second set I feel so weak and wobbly on and usually have to have a break.

I also still struggle with squat thrusts, plank jacks, and them v lift exercises with the squat thing too.

But I am most definately improving. And my arm shape and tone is most definately improving too. So keep going if you can :)

  • I did it! I got up this morning and did level 2 again! The first half of the level was actually much easier than it was yesterday. The second half was still mega hard - but progress is good!!!

Phew......well with less than 30 days to go to the wedding <eek!> my DVD finally made it out of the wrapper this morning.

Oh my good god!!! She is tough!!! But I really felt it, within a few minutes, much more than my whole time on the treadmill. I have had workout, Strictly Dance, Wii EA Sports Active, Yoga discs in the past and NOTHING felt like this.

I really hope I can keep it up!! She really made me laugh when she was like if you feel like you are gonna DIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE lol

I was getting a bit stressed that I had only lost 1 whole pound so far, despite treadmill everyday and Special K Diet for weeks but maybe I was "phoning it in" on the treadmill lol

I've been dieting and attending zumba classes since january, and am now giving it one last push before the wedding in 4 weeks.

I would say that yes I have noticed a difference in my body and I have done the dvd 8 times now I think? Over about 2 weeks (my bad for not doing it every day, lol!)

I have noticed in particular that my arms seem a lot more toned up and I have finally lost 0.5" from them. In the last 2-3 weeks I have lost 0.5" from my hips, bum, waist and arms, and 1" from my bust (which is the last place i lose weight from and the place I really needed to lose from to fit into my dress nicely!)

    Give it a go I say :j

Haha, mine sat in its cellophane for 2.5 months!! I think that was the most difficult challenge, actually using it!!

Whens your wedding? Mine is on 23rd July - getting close now :j:j:j

I have found that I haven't been losing weight on the scales as much lately, but I am definately toning up loads. I had a picture taken of me at zumba class the other day (she did ask first, lol! it was for her website!) and I was really surprised by how much different I looked! I don't have a full length mirror at home and I just don't think I had noticed if you get me?? I keep looking at the picture now and thinking, wow, soooooo different from when I started. I have lost 2 stone tho since january, so there is bound to be some big changes.

I think you will be able to keep it up. I find it helps having this thread as support too. :T

  • Hiya guys! I've just read all your comments and have found them very encouraging! Hoping to get the dvd in the next few days (when i get paid!:rotfl:)

I've tried the EA Games sports active game and the Wii fit but have found that after a week or two, i've got bored and stopped doing them. Hopefully i'll stick to this especially as you all are doing so well!:T
  • wow, this sounds great think i'm going to order it! im the same as a few others on here- i can get the motivation but i get easily bored so generally tend to give up on things too easily. im sure popping on here will help to keep my focus! just popping over to amazon to order now...
