May 22 Sun Kylie Minogue - Caesars Palace 8pm
might be of interest to someone?
I noticed this to, shame we arrive a week later on the 28th, but on the day we arrive The Script are playing at House of Blues at Mandalay Bay, so am going to try and get tickets for that when they go on sale, can anyone tell me what that venue is like please?0 -
SeptemberWe've seen both Phantom and Mystere and enjoyed both. Never saw Phantom before though.
Also saw Beatles Love which was very good.
Anyone seen any good flight prices for September yet? Looking for Glasgow, currently over £650 with US Airways. Do you think there's any hope of them coming down a bit? We're normally booked by now, but just can't get a good deal.0 -

We booked ours abut 2 months ago, flying into LV on 7th and back fram San fran on 21st (direct with BA from heathrow), they were £550 each so you never know, they may come down near that again? Although when you add on the glasgow leg £100 extra is probably about right.0 -
SeptemberInteresting story in the LVRJ (my hubby reads it regularly
)
http://www.lvrj.com/business/casinos-cautioned-to-restrict-access-to-player-card-information-114193164.html
Which included this bit...
The Desert Rose Resort also reported that an "unspecified number" of guests at the hotel between June and October had their debit and credit card information stolen by a malicious software infection.
Messages left with Shell Vacations Hospitality in Chicago, parent company of Desert Rose Resort, were not returned. In a statement, Shell Vacations President Susan Kelley said investigators found the breach occurred within a specific management software program.
The hotel chain, which doesn't operate a casino at its Las Vegas property, was forced to process credit cards through a separate system, while debit cards were no longer accepted for a time.
I wonder what guests planning on paying by debit card and having no CC had to do?
Luci just alerted me to this also. My card was compromised in the US after our September trip (a small transaction and a refund, which is apparently typical because then they will do a bit transaction). Fortunately my card company were onto it right away. We did spend some time at Desert Rose in the middle of our trip. Obviously can't be sure how it happened but it's a possiblity.0 -
My husband wants to do something "cultural" on our trip - has anyone been to the Atomic Testing Museum?0

SeptemberMy husband went and i drove over to Marshall's at Boulevard Mall
He enjoyed it, but not my kind of thing at all.0 -
AugustI have had a fraudulent transaction on my card after a trip to Vegas. It was for a telescope (or at least that is what the retailer sold) for about $50. I had to cancel my card.
Never stayed at Desert Rose though and no idea where someone took my card details0 -
