We're currently looking at hotels for our week long vegas trip in a months time (nothing like leaving the hotel booking to the last minute - we did have a back up in place to avoid panic however) and are finding them to consistantly be a lot cheaper than other sites. In fact when looking at making the week a two hotel stay they're cheaper than the hotel's own prices (lowcostsusa are quoting 3 nights at the Venetian for less than £300 and 4 nights at the Bellagio for just over £400). That just seems too good to be true or is it because its last minute bookings/offer? Are they ok to book with or should I be wary?
I have used them many times with no problems
they often have very good deals for the higher end Vegas hotels0 -
Thanks, thats good to hear0

I had similar suspicions and found a nice little loophole to cover all bases. I took a screenshot of the checkout page on lowcostusa and then booked the same room through ebookers (via Quidco with 12% cashback) and then successfully claimed on ebookers best price guarantee. I've ended up with 10 nights at the Flamingo in 4 weeks time for a nett cost of £260.0 -

Glad that it's coming in handy - we still haven't tried Magnolia's - maybe need to put it on the list. Hope you are having a great trip!Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

We like the specials at Magnolia's best. They have a good Ham and Eggs, Tony's favourite, and I love the Prime rib special. (That one only begins at 4pm, the Ham and eggs is 24 hours.) Last time, I had my usual, and Tony had a steak sandwich, which was rather large. He liked, but not as much as his usual.
We are having a good time. We had a mini meet with Kiddo and Dusty (remember them from OV?) Lunch at Gold Coast. Tomorrow is laundry day, a necessary evil, but Wednesday we have lunch at the Indian on Twain with Norm. It is a buffet for $13 pp, and is supposed to be excellent. Thursday we see Elton, and Saturday we have the Tennis Masters at Thomas and Mack.0 -

Oatman was an interesting enough diversion – I liked feeding the burros, we got there just in time for the play shoot-out (which was very cheesy, but we expected it to be so)…I got some Arizona Jalepeno salt and something else at one of the shops (leave it to me to go to a ghost town and buy food-related stuff)….it was very hot though…it was worth a stop as we were going to Laughlin anyway and glad we’ve done it – would I suggest a special trip? Depends really – it’s a nice enough way to keep yourself out of the casino, but probably a long way to go just for Oatman.
Laughlin is nice, we didn’t do well in the casinos (never do – I know others have much better luck) and were annoyed that the lunch buffet at Harrah’s was done so early…but the coffee shop was good enough (and I got my chicken fried steak fix!)…and it was nice walking back along the river to get back to our car at the end – though it was after dark by then and the bugs were awful – reasonably confident I swallowed at least 6....there was much hand flapping going on...:) We have been to Laughlin three times now, I think…not sure when we will go back as have never done well in the casinos, and while it’s a nice enough diversion, if we’re just going to lose, it’s less appealing to drive that far to lose, then have to drive back.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
we have almost decided on honeymoon & it looks like it will be 10 nights in vegas. we have been once before & loved it.
just wondering if anyone would care to share their opinions on the price i have been quoted.
its £2650 for BA direct from Heathrow 7/8/12 (departs 16:45) returning 17/8/12 (departs 20:45) staying in Planet Hollywood - it is through a travel agent, so I am assuming its standard room.
We previously stayed in MGM & Encore, and I would stay in Encore again - just wondering if anyone has any other suggestions? We like something mid strip that is convenient to everything. I would love Cosmopolitan but I think it would be very expensive!
