So sorry to hear about your Mum photome and hope she's OK.

I know how disappointing it is. We booked a cruise a few years ago to go away with MIL and her best friend who lived 150 miles away and her daughter. A couple of weeks before we left, MIL fell and broke her arm and couldn't go. I was SOOOOOO disappointed as the cruise was all about them spending a week together all inclusive as they were both partial to a few whiskies.

My liver and lungs are crying out for mercy already, I don't have the heart to tell them that we still have a long way to go!
Got hammered at the craps table last night, gonna give it a rest for a couple of nights.
Anyone thinking of dinner at MAG out on the terrace at this time of year, the shade comes over at about 5pm and the aircon and misters keep it nice and cool even though it is sweltering out.
Every day this month the temps have been over 100, hotter than July which is unusual
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

A heads up here. Anyone who used to have the old MGM card and has swapped it for the new !!!!!! one. I was playing a couple of nights ago in Belagio and checked my balance on the screen, 0 points!
Up to the !!!!!! desk and was told that sometimes there is an issue with the swap over and the new card takes points off when you play instead of adding points, I actually had a negative balance. The supervisor fixed the card and gave me a thousand points as well, sweet. Just check your points while playing.

Off to M resort today to use the pool. All women over 21 are free, local men are $10 all others $15. Cabanas are $60 including soft drinks and fruit bowl so might go for that.
Although I love the Platinum the pool area is so hot, it was 108f yesterday and it must have been 120 by the pool with all the glass around

    Hey Stoneman

So everything went smoothly at the DMV then? ID card all good?? Glad I could point you in the right direction. Meanwhile I'm in rainy England at the V Festival.....enjoy the weather ;)

Yes everything went smooth, I even got a temp slip until my permanent card comes through. Good job I went, found out I have a problem with seeing distance in my right eye, the lady at the counter let me try the eyesight tester they use for your driving licence and I failed it!

You could also check the Chanel shops at Bellagio and Wynn? I've no experience in these shops so don't know if they carry sunglasses but would be worth a look.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?
