Can someone help me find the best way to book flights and hotel package or seperate. just wondering if there were any good websites doing deals . looking to go 2nd week in November.:)

RE: residents ID, they do a temp one too, I'm going to try when we are back out there in Sept as we have an apt, 3 registered & insured cars & we pay bills there. Last time we were in DMV (we use Henderson one not W. Sahara! less queues! and closer to home) they weren't sure if we could or not! We do usually get the discount though, our players cards are reg'd to US address & I carry a gas or electric bill or rent payment slip!

Asus Eee PC T101MT is a fab bit of kit, I use mine daily as my at home laptop, my 2yr old uses it & it travels where I do! thinking about another for our workshop to run diagnostics, much more useable than an iPad.

Do you have a US passport or foreign passport with I-551 or resident alien card? If not it will be a wasted journey to the DMV i'm afraid. That is of course assuming that even though you own an apartment here you don't have permission to 'live' permanently in the US. Sorry if I got your circumstances wrong. But I agree Henderson DMV is much better than Sahara plus it's just round the corner from me

Nearly time for me to go, fly on monday with BA, bit of a disaster 2 days ago though as my Mum and Dad were coming with us this time, they are in their 70s and are thinking they wont get many more chances, anyway my Mum fell over and broke her ankle in 3 places and has had it pinned this afternoon and will be in hospital till about tue/wednesday.

We had lots planned for them and that is one reason we booked a premium view at the Cosmo as it is mine and my Dads birthday while we are there.

Spent yesterday cancelling and amending all my parents bookings, so it was a bit of a sad day for us.

We are still going as I have a brother and sister who can help out while we are away.

Good luck, sounds like you've had a lot to deal with...hope all goes well while you're away. I'm sure your Mum would like you to have a really good time. x

I'm sure Alamo would have been fine, but we know exactly what to expect with Dollar so they are our preference.

Mums OP went ok, so thats a good news, my Dad got upset this morning when I went to see him.

Anyway enough of the doom and gloom, we are about to start packing as I have to go to Norwich first home game this pm, and then get back to be on BA website at 1625 ready to check in and choose seats.
