Its my birthday whilst am out there as well reddeb but no 0's on the end of mine :) Cheers Ferf I wasnt sure if they'd have them in their own shops I thought they might only sell the higher end stuff but if all else fails I shall have a look! Also a few of the times when we've been I've got a discount voucher included in the FSM voucher booklet thing for Saks for 10% off so was hoping there would be something like that but obv they only dish them out every so often so I cant bank on it. :)

They have them in the Chanel shops in Wynn and Belagio, but they are over priced. A good selection at the sunglass hut stall in FSM though, but most are not curent season, don't know if you are bothered about that.
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

Off to M resort today to use the pool. All women over 21 are free, local men are $10 all others $15. Cabanas are $60 including soft drinks and fruit bowl so might go for that.
Although I love the Platinum the pool area is so hot, it was 108f yesterday and it must have been 120 by the pool with all the glass around

Never noticed it much at the Platinum, although now wondering as we'll be there in 2 1/2 weeks :j Now, when we stayed at Trump last year - that was one hot pool area OMG, unbearable with all that gold glass!!

Cheers Stoneman I wasnt sure if they'd have them in their own shops so thats good to know I'll also check Sunglasses Hut out although there current season I'm after... I should have paid more attention when we were in all the glasses shops last year when hubby was buying some! I had it planned in my head to buy the Tiffany ones I've been after but when I've priced them up on their website there's not much diff in the price of them to what they sell them at here so figured I may aswell check some of the other that I like out. Thanks again :)

Thinking about getting a new camera before I go away in November (the Canon 550D). Does anyone know if I would be better to wait until I'm over there, or will it work out at around the same price? I'm not really sure where I could even check online.

Most items seem to be cheaper there. Have a look at Fry's or Best Buy(?) to check prices. The Panasonic that I was looking at was the same price in $ as it was here in £. Also check Amazon.com. It might want to send you to the UK site, but just ignore it.

Don't forget if you buy in the US you have a tax free allowance to think about. Check out prices on places like bestbuy.com

May be worth calling the duty free shops for a VAT free price and pick it up on departure.

Also check the warrenty situation if you buy in the US

For those you you fans of the Food Channels and love seeing the emergence of the Food Trucks...here is a list of various ones round Vegas and where to find them. I believe they have a Food Truck event near Freemont Street but I'm not sure when and how often.

Ha, I've found the challenge for my September trip, what's the over/ under on how many I can knock off in 12 days. Hint I can be very dedicated!

I hope to catch a rebels game so might catch one or two there?
