Did you make them a counter offer? Theyre obv oversold in Prem or undersold in UC.

They said they had extra seats in upper and I did say if it was return we would have but was advised to ask at the desk at MAN when we get there
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

    Hello all

We have just booked our flights to vegas for Easter 2012. I have been several times before, however this time we are wanting to go to San Francisco for three or four days. There is four of us going and I just wondered if anyone knew which would be the best way of getting their ? how long is the drive or is it easier and chaeper to fly? if so which website to find flights on etc ?

Thanks in advance for any help

It's 9hrs door to door from Henderson to San Jose (Los Gatos) so about the same Vegas to SF. Look at Allegiant and Southwest for flights.

  • It can take a little as 9 hours BUT this is the most boring route to drive as well. More scenic routes take 11-12 hours so really it's just your preference. But if you are short on time you'll be wasting a day driving there. I generally fly Southwest so have a look for the prices there.

MGM have applied for it to be imploded. (due to the court case with the contractors there is a ruling in place that it can't be touched at the moment). Anybody know if they plan to re-build or ....... ?????

Just when you thought the City Centre building work had just about finished...sigh

Rightio, I've booked the hotel, £250 for a week at the Desert Rose, no resort fees, free internet, free breakfast, wine/beer evenings, easy parking and within walking distance of Hooters, Tropicana and MGM. Oh and a full kitchen thingy which I know I won't use or take proper advantage of but I like the option.
    Oh aye, free coffee too.

I've tried having a looksy at my players cards offers but apart from one from B Connected I appear to have nowt for my dates.

I'm sat here typing away, poker faced, because all this is for my hubby's surprise for his 50th later this year and HE HAS NO IDEA....:D:rotfl::j

Will be interesting to see if developers wait to resume construction on Echelon and Fontainebleau or just implode them too

Got our hotel booked yesterday at the Mirage and took advantage of the free 2 show tickets which I'm quite pleased about :)

On the other hand, my friend is going away in a few weeks and booked 3 nights at the Tropicana for £265 from the 9th-12th September. Does this seem a bit too expensive? She only booked it yesterday but I think it sounds a bit much!

I'd say yes, unless she has some special package or suite or there are some freebies in with it....are her dates at a popular time?

I signed up for email specials from Tropicana and they straight away sent me a 15% off code...so that's always worth a try.

I've just tried 7 nights for our dates and its coming in at £348.50 at current currency rate for 7 nights.

We'd like to do a Hoover Dam tour on our next trip.

Anyone have any thought or opinions on best companies to go with?

We stopped for some photos by the Dam on our way to the GC last trip, but im really interested in seeing the Generator room etc.
The smaller the tour the better - we loved Grand Adventures due to the low number of people and how personal it all felt. Although i dont know if companies like this are about just for going to the Dam.
