Yes what was that all about! She could have saved some money and put a CD on, see still in MSE mode even on holiday:D

It made my ears feel like they were bleeding. I'm just glad she was worth suffering through that for.

Are taxis around the strip expensive? Hope it wasnt all of the $30!? Could you give a rough guide, say if my fiance cant walk anymore (medical reasons) on taxi fares? I mean I know you dont know the distance I'm on about, but whats the fare when you jump in and how quick does it go up? TY for any advice :o

I never use taxis but here is a fare finder

    http://vegas.taxiwiz.com/?lang=en

and another that tells you how they charge

One of my all time favourites has to be the 3 reel Wheel of Fortune slot , love it when the bonus spin comes up, I've yet to win 1000 coins though. Maybe this time round :)

We don't play it often...but occasionally we do.

    I know, I know...I've posted it before...but it was a big moment. :)
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

To be honest I only have 2 examples to go on so far but both $25 (tip inclusive) to go from the strip to the Orleans

Having a devil of a time getting my hands on a 16Gb iPad2, phoning all 3 Apple locations every day, also Bestbuy and Frys, no luck at all. Good saving if I can get one, about £330 with rate conversion compared to £399 in the U.K.

we were in apple store fashion show mall this morning at 11am and people were queueing. They had just ran out of AT&T when I left. I was lucky to get one in LA but no 16gb when I got there so took a 32.

Awesome! Tracy's a low-stakes slot player too, isn't she? Even more awesome if that was a $0.40 bet. May it keep on coming. :)

It was so funny, I was playing craps and came back to see a huge smile on here face. she had been playing 20 cents a hand and doing quite well, then the lady next to her said "you should really be playing 40 cents on that" but she accidentally hit the 2 per line button so was playing 80 cents and started hitting big wins straight away. She says she won't be playing 5 cent deuces wild anymore, a monster has been created :rotfl:
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

Has anyone taken/used a TravelEx Cash Passport card in Vegas?
It says you can use it @ any atm or shop that take Mastercard but I just wanted to see if anyone has used one and how widely they are accepted, and if all cash machines in Vegas take them.

    Thanks
