Having a devil of a time getting my hands on a 16Gb iPad2, phoning all 3 Apple locations every day, also Bestbuy and Frys, no luck at all. Good saving if I can get one, about £330 with rate conversion compared to £399 in the U.K.
Saw Kylie on Sunday, her full 2 and a half hour show which surprised me as Caesars usually wants to get everyone back into the casino, she is very good and glad we got the opportunity to see her even if it seemed that me and OH appeared to be the only straight people in the venue.
Had our second dinner of the trip at MAG last night, this one only came to $50 for the 2 as the waitress forgot to put my 2 glasses of wine on the bill.

Have to admit this made me chuckle because it reminded me of when we stayed in Caesers in 2008 and Bette Midler was on. We thought that PRIDE was on that day due to all the flamboyant gentlemen walking around, then we saw the Midler poster and thought "AH HA"
Although we didn't go to the show the atmosphere in the casino before they all went into the venue was brilliant.

It's very, very small...they have some beauty products but quite a limited selection...they are cheaper than local stores though.

Terminal 2 is not very exciting at all...rather depressing really...bad enough to be leaving Vegas but if the terminal was nicer it might not seem so bad.

Its tiny - deffo get from Macys/Sephora etc in Vegas. From memory theres a small clinique section and one or maybe 2 other brands, a bit of booze, fags and sweets. I just sit in the bar near burger king!

You weren't the only straight people at Kylie's concert, me and my OH were there too.

I was a bit disappointed with the world famous DJ set beforehand. Otherwise it was great.

My MIL was so suprised to find out that her new friends (the two guys sat next to her at Bette) were gay...she had NO IDEA - she still says...the three of them were so cute, gabbing away before the show...she was so surprised when they reacted as they did to the 'are there any gays in the house?' It was adorable...she still talks about those 'nice gay men at Bette'. I think they may have hugged her on the way out even...so, so cute.

Sat at Gustoves bar in Paris after dinner and hit a Royal on Double bonus poker for $1,000, the OH hit $400 on Wolf Run at PlanetHo

Awesome! Tracy's a low-stakes slot player too, isn't she? Even more awesome if that was a $0.40 bet. May it keep on coming. :)

See, that's what we like about slots...no skill involved...no decisions to make. I know for some people it's boring, but we like them...but we really only play video slots with bonus rounds. :)

Im also a low limit slot lover... bonus, video slots absolutely love getting in the feature.....sooooo exciting......

    sad I know!

Usually have a favourite that I seek out every year but have started looking on you tube and choosing a new slot that i'd like to try. Did work this time as I had my best win yet on Wicked winnings II.

Tried video poker but its not the same for me, i'll stick with the flashing lights and loud bells!

Personally I like the old fashioned slots, and I love video poker because I can have more control over what is dealt by holding the cards,
DH loved the one last time round where you went fishing on the bonus round, can't remember what it's called though, and it probably won't be there anymore.
One of my all time favourites has to be the 3 reel Wheel of Fortune slot , love it when the bonus spin comes up, I've yet to win 1000 coins though. Maybe this time round :)

So we Spent a few hours in the Orleans casino.....didn't lose or win much but enjoyed a few drinks. So far the slots are a mystery to me. You seem to either win or lose, no skill involved. Maybe we need to try some more :) went out by the pool for a few drinks. Very enjoyable.!

After a quick shower we decided to catch the free bus to the strip. Waited 5 mins but it was full. Didn't fancy waiting another half hour so grabbed a cab to the fashion show mall and went to stripburger which was amazing!!!!! Green chilli burger and chilli cheese fries.....wow. Will be back later in the week I think. Not cheap though but was worth it.

Headed down the strip with a brief stop in TI and quick go on the slots...still clueless. Loving the hotels....but will have a proper look today as OH !was very tired. On way back noticed sex and the city in flamingo, $1 in $30 out. Decided not to play on and headed back with the small winnings paying for our taxi.

Just enjoying a bagel and catching up with emails then off to do some shopping.!

    !

Are taxis around the strip expensive? Hope it wasnt all of the $30!? Could you give a rough guide, say if my fiance cant walk anymore (medical reasons) on taxi fares? I mean I know you dont know the distance I'm on about, but whats the fare when you jump in and how quick does it go up? TY for any advice :o

Yes what was that all about! She could have saved some money and put a CD on, see still in MSE mode even on holiday:D
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.
