Just how bad is Circus Circus? BA has an offer of £97 for 5 nights!!( Dec30th to Jan4th). I'm not booking it by the way- have already booked. But surely this can't be right??

Stayed there in 1999, was fine then and no complaints. I took my young daughters (12 and 14) they loved it and Vegas in general. As an adult and without a car I prefer anything central, Circus Circus is not central. Had a car in '99 so wasn't a problem.
    It's someone else's fault.

Thanks :) I think I'll take MGM Grand off the list since it's not the best location. It'll be between Mirage and the Flamingo.

IMHO as youre only there three days, go for a great hotel in a top location - Bellagio/Paris probably dead centre of all the stuff you'll want to see.

Have you checked the links on page 1. There are various sits about but the 2 with the most are the paid for ones

    Lasvegasadvisor

    americancasinoguide

You can sign up for the outlet malls and get a vip book which will get you discounts in most of their stores

I dont think you will be disappointed wherever you stay. Paris is another option as they often have cheap rates.

I still think it comes down to price, when you have decided how much you want to spend, then go from there

Sure hope my Virgin flight is full then on my way back!
I'm flying back from Orlando, theres 2 flights that day, and i am on the 2nd one........ So will be interesting to see what would happen if they asked for Volunteers :)
I booked us seats 61 (the twin seats at the back of the plane) on our vegas flight and coming back from the orlando one...

On the note of flights, i read that for Virgin passengers, you can pay $10 and drop your bags at MGM early in the day.......
Does anyone know if you can do the same for Delta (i fly to orlando with delta), flight aint until 22:40! Were off for a drive somewhere all day, so dont want the cases in the Mustang :)
Virgin offered me 3 free flights to any where in the world with the exception of australia, overnight accomodation, meals and transport, and extra legroom seats if we would travel to orlando on next mornings flight to Orlando. That was 1 return flight for myself and 2 grand daughters.

    roomres@mirage.com

Remember to quote your confirm number....Give them 2 or 3 days to reply before you chase, they're good at getting back within 48 hours though ;)
