    Thankyou caz!

People have been saying (a couple pages back) that they no longer think the restaurant.com vouchers for stripburger are worth it without a promo code

However I have to say that a $50 voucher for $25 looks great value to me! Have I missed anything?

You found the minimum spend, so that's part of it.

Nothing has changed with Stripburger yet - it may not...it's just that one of their sister restaurants now does not allow promo codes so I was just speculating that it might be coming.

As for not being worth it, the $25 voucher which is like gold dust used to cost $10 (minimum spend $35) - but you could get a 50% off code so it costs only $5. As it stands now, if the $25 vouchers cost $20, even with a 50% off code it's $10...without the promo code, it would hardly seem worth bothering to save $5.

Thanks for all the info luci, hope you're having a fab time, could you tell me if there's a hair-dryer (less weight in my suitcase!!)lol. And can you tell me how much the resort fee is please? Have heard a few different prices, would like to let everyone know about little extra's to pay. Been trying to find out if there's any Headliners at MGM from 25 Sept-29th sept, would like to see David Copperfield and wondering where would be best place to book, here or Vegas when we arrive? But also hoping for a Head-liner. TIA

This should answer your resort fee and hairdryer questions (I don't think I have ever stayed in a hotel room in the US that doesn't have hair dryers - or flannels for that matter, but that's another story entirely).

    Headliners listed here:

Copperfield is on your last night.

List of many concerts (not all September shows will have been announced yet).

Booked through Virgin Holidays who I've just come off the phone with and they've given me a ref number so I can now get on to the online booking page :j:D

Glad they gave you the info and hope you got OK seats...personally I think it's awful if they didn't give you the chance to select seats before - didn't tell you 'hey, why don't you select your seats while there's plenty available' - if you had booked DIY or through another 3rd party then fine, but booking through VH I would have thought it would be part of the service you are paying for...but hey. Regardless, I'm sure you will have a great trip.

Duchy - enjoy your trip - looking forward to the trip report when you get back! :)

Want to book Penn and Teller and one of the Cirque shows in early September. We want seating near the front so have to book early, so is it best to book direct or through an agency. Also any tips on the best Cirque show? Cheers.

you do not want to sit near the front for any Cirque show - mid-way back are much better seats.

For everyone who loves one Cirque show there's someone who hates it...too much down to personal taste...the two that I'm not sure anyone here recommends are Zumanity and Believe. Our favorite was Love...and to prove my first point, the first time we were in the front row and I especially wasn't at all fussed with the show...after the 2nd time mid-way back, it shot straight to the top of my list.

P&T is regularly discounted - doesn't yet cover your dates though:

I would almost always book direct...we were front row for P&T and really enjoyed it...some people weren't as keen...Penn talks a lot...that annoys some people. :)

Thank you SOOOOO much for this link - I've just been able to find out that Soundgarden are playing at Hard Rock when we're in Vegas to get married (and 2 days after my birthday)...cannot convey my joy at finding this out (this is like 20 years of teenage adulation here!!!!!) :T:T:T

When we went to see Penn and Teller there was hardly anyone there so ended up in the 4th row after paying the lowest price from tix tonight or somewhere.

Out of interest, when you go to a show and get moved forward do you tip?? I thought we were getting a real treat when it happened to us the first time and we tipped the clerk, who gave a nice little speil about whether we could tip or not which I thought was quite sweet so we did (cant remember if it was $10 or $20) and then when we got in there was hardly anyone there and I felt a bit gutted really, like we had been scammed! I didnt realise at the time that they do it to eveyone when they havent sold many tickets!

What should we have done?/Do other people do?
