For what it's worth my top three would be Human Nature (bookable in advance with good discount at Goldstar) at the Imperial Palace, Love at the Mirage and (Mr Ferf's favourite show ;) ) Donny and Marie at the Flamingo.

Going with Virgin but for some reason cant get on to check my booking, Hope I can when I get to Manchester on wednesday evening so I can do the online check-in. Also hoping we get sat together as we havent pre booked our seats. Well excited now.....just trying to find out if theres a iron in the rooms in the Cosmo so I can put the ironing board away and just chill out for the afternoon :D

Did you book with Virgin, or via a 3rd party?
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

Also I want to get a $50 stripburger voucher from restaurant.com, but I can't register without a US zip code. How have people got round this?

Use the zip code in the first post to get round it

Booked through Virgin Holidays who I've just come off the phone with and they've given me a ref number so I can now get on to the online booking page :j:D

Some decent looking rates for MGM Signature here:

    http://www.travelzoo.com/uk/hotels/usa-canada/-42-amp-up-Las-Vegas-Suite-at-4-Star-Resort-on-The-Strip-1026982/

    Excluding $22.40 daily resort fee.

Not been on here for a while so sorry if it's already been posted (or if the price ain't as good as I thought).

As already said, the MGM is one of the worst hotels to try the $20 tip. Apparently the staff are not allowed to accept it and I have never tried it there.

Getting 5 rooms together may be a problem.

We are at the MGM at the moment in a Grand Tower room on the 24th floor of 29. For once the room was ready when we checked in even though it is a very busy fight weekend. We were in the room 30 mins after leaving the room at Harrah's.

We were just polite and friendly to the check in clerk. She said we had a good view and she wasn't kidding. We have a great view all the way from NYNY to PH Westgate and can even see the Bellagio fountains.

We have always been lucky with the view at MGM and we have stayed here several times.

We have just been to the Centrifuge bar trying to use our $15 beverage credit. We ordered a cocktail and a beer and I had the money ready to pay. We sat at the bar and started playing video poker. When I asked the barman how much it was he said it was complimentary as we were playing.

Now I have read that some places such as Wynn have stopped comping drinks at the bar and some required that you play max bet, but we weren't.

Thanks for all the info luci, hope you're having a fab time, could you tell me if there's a hair-dryer (less weight in my suitcase!!)lol. And can you tell me how much the resort fee is please? Have heard a few different prices, would like to let everyone know about little extra's to pay. Been trying to find out if there's any Headliners at MGM from 25 Sept-29th sept, would like to see David Copperfield and wondering where would be best place to book, here or Vegas when we arrive? But also hoping for a Head-liner. TIA
