i know a few people who cannot stand flying and it takes them days to get over it , if they can get on the plane in the first place . one has the classic fear of flying , while another can get on a plane on his own , but cannot fly with his wife and kids .
i can quote all the statistics on how if you flew everyday , you would on average have to fly everyday for 19,000 years before you would possibly die from flying .
but your not really scared of flying , your scared of dying . yet we will all die one dayillegitimi non carborundum0 -
JuneAre you sure it's any show? I would be kind of surprised if it included Gladys, but maybe. Regardless, I'm also looking really forward to your trip report.
Which reminds me - I think we have a few pending...don't we? Hmmmmm? I will not names, of course...but I am really looking forward to them!
This is from the chick i been dealing with:
"""
Thank you for being such a raving fan that you are helping us promote the Trop! Any of your friends that need assistance with a great rate, please feel free to give them my information and tell them just to drop your name and I will ensure that they are taken care of personally.
As you get closer to your arrival date, please keep an eye on our shows and let me know about 2 weeks prior to your arrival what show you would like to see. I can offer you five tickets happily! If you need a few more, I would be happy to take care of those for you as well!
"""
Thats how i got tickets to see any show they do, so i'll be gunning for the VIP seat front row for the Gladys night, infact, looking forward to it big time!
Its a shame she hasn't come back to me about giving us a 2floor suite for an extra $50 i offered, but i guess that really is being cheeky! hehe !$20 sandwich at check-in for a better room for me then!
Cheers for the note on Boulder city, guessing its a few miles outside of the strip? although Root Beer is nice, takes me back to when they used to sell it in McD's years ago, was like drinking fizzy TCP!0 -

Julyhi all
have had a quick search of this thread and not found too much re: Boulder City.
OH fancies going out there, but just wondering what people who've been would recommend to do/see there? Is it worth the trip out... it doesn't look far on the map.
Or is it just a glorified stop-off for trips to the Hoover Dam? (that might be a huge injustice, but I've just not looked into it yet!)0 -
AprilIt can be worth a stop off on the way to the Dam as you say. Don't personally think it's worth a special trip.
ps, another tip for anyone going through Boulder City on the way to the dam and it's busy. Don't turn left at the traffic lights. Go straight across and join the main road further on. You can save yourselves quite a queue. But watch those 4 way stops!!!0 -

It's worth a look, but nothing really special. Last time we went, there was a nice little shop that sold natural stones and rock - like desert rose etc that was worth popping in and having a browse.
It's one of those places that you can stop off in and get some fresh air and take in the quiet away from the Vegas hustle and bustle IYSWIM. It's a nice run out that way.BEST EVER WINS WON IN ORDER (so far) = Sony Camcorder, 32" lcd telly, micro ipod hifi, Ipod Nano, Playstation 3, Andrex Jackpup, Holiday to USA, nintendo wii, Liverpool vs Everton tickets, £250 Reward Your thirst, £500 Pepsi, p&o rotterdam trip, perfume hamper, Dr Who stamp set, steam cleaner.
