Must admit I saw one of the very early shows and yawned my way through it so never considered any of the Vegas Cirque shows -not even Love. The only one I'd consider is Believe-just to see if it is really as bad as the reviews say ;)

Seeing Donny and Marie next month-the show has just had a lot of changes made so be interesting to see how that works (was long overdue for update but I guess it was delayed after Marie's son died to keep the pressure off her)

Hi everyone! Very quick question - has anyone flown Delta from Manchester to Las Vegas recently? I'm looking at their flight that changes in Atlanta and like the seating arrangements (2-3-2) but can't work out what the IFE situation is on the MAN-ATL leg.

According to SeatGuru for this particular flight number / plane type "...Currently, Economy Class features overhead LCD screens throughout the cabin, but Delta is in the process of updating Economy class with AVOD..." Anyone know how far through this 'process' they are and what the chances are of getting anything but an overhead screen on this flight in September? Also SeatGuru shows that the ATL - LAS leg does have AVOD - can anyone confirm if this is definately the case?

Alternatively there's a MAN - JFK - LAS route, also with Delta, but as it apparently uses a 757 / 737 rather than the 767s on the ATL route, all the seating is 3-3. As there's only the two of us we do prefer to get a pair of seats if possible, and I dislike single aisle planes generally (always someone in the way when you need the loo!) so my preference would I think be the flight via ATL, but just wondered whether anyone here has any first hand experience of either flight?

You can now sign up for a Total Rewards card online. Could be handy for getting good room rates if you've never been before.

Yes I went. She was superb. Got my ticket from Tix4tonight at 0900 and went straight to the Tropicana to book my seat.

Don't waste your money on the general admission, unusually it's a first come, first served seating arrangement. And when the seating is by table the early birds will get the best seats. Go for the VIP, it's approx $50 a seat, get to the hotel early and ask for either a booth where all the seats face the stage, or the front seats of a table. She is on at 8 Tues-Thurs and 9pm Fri-Sat. No shows Sun or mon. (ps if the box office at the theatre isn't open when you get to the hotel try the front desk).

Sweeeeeet, given i have free tickets to see Any show at the Trop, think i might have to see this, do like a bit of the old soul stuff! :D:D
I just hope the manager of the Trop gives us the VIP treatment (will be 5 tickets!) and gives us a good table at the front.....
Although saying that, after the email i sent on Thursday asking for an upgrade to the suite (Trop) and i'll give her $50, dont think its gonna do me any favours! hehe :D:D:D:D :A
8th june for Gladys it is!
I would'nt mind seeing a Ratpack style show when in Vegas, anyone aware of anything like that ?

Stuie, hope you haven't packed in so much on your Vegas holiday that you can't just mooch about for a bit, that's just part of the fun, just mooching and pottering and just doing something just because you've just spotted it. Don't forget too, you'll need to sleep...:rotfl:

I'm looking forward to Stuie's trip report and how all this scheming panned out- and what worked and what didn't :)
