MarchCan all you Vegas experts (!) give your thoughts on this?
I'm looking a for a trip for my daughter for mid Sept. Her mates getting married there and is staying at the Monte Carlo (dates are around Sept 13/14 to 17/18 and are flexible as long as they cover the 16th).
A quick look on Ebookers give a flight price for that week of around £770, but the Monte Carlo is doing an offer of flight and room which comes to between £790 and £840 depending on dates of travel.
Am I likely to find better if I search for the rest of the day/week !!
Not a major issue, but I don't think their package prices will include the $15/day resort fee - just so your daughter isn't surprised if she has to pay that locally.
Only way to know for sure if it's a good deal would be do some searching - kayak may be an option with it's flexible dates option for flights - I have never used ebookers so don't know if they have something similar.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.0

Just dont, whatever you do, see Zumanity there. If you have the option of poking your eyes out with a rusty nail and bathing them in acid, take it.....its less painful.illegitimi non carborundum0

did you go BillTrac? any recommendations on where to / where not to sit?
Yes I went. She was superb. Got my ticket from Tix4tonight at 0900 and went straight to the Tropicana to book my seat.
Don't waste your money on the general admission, unusually it's a first come, first served seating arrangement. And when the seating is by table the early birds will get the best seats. Go for the VIP, it's approx $50 a seat, get to the hotel early and ask for either a booth where all the seats face the stage, or the front seats of a table. She is on at 8 Tues-Thurs and 9pm Fri-Sat. No shows Sun or mon. (ps if the box office at the theatre isn't open when you get to the hotel try the front desk).
Plus, I saw Human Nature who were brilliant, Phantom which I wouldn't rush to see again and Jersey Boys which even though I have seen four or five times before(London and LV) I was disappointed with. They seemed to have increased the swearing (min age 12)and the lead singer isn't too good0 -

I really, really hope that one day we stumble upon a way to get free tickets to Zumanity (and Believe, for that matter) so I can see just how bad they are.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

I keep hearing negative views about this show. Without bringing nails & acid into it, what's the reason why it's so bad? Is it just boring or it it just an aquired taste?
To be fair though, we did see Mystere once and I found it a complete pile of arty farty poop, so can see where you are coming from, DH enjoyed it more than me. I much preferred going to Tournament Of Kings - a lot more fun imo.BEST EVER WINS WON IN ORDER (so far) = Sony Camcorder, 32" lcd telly, micro ipod hifi, Ipod Nano, Playstation 3, Andrex Jackpup, Holiday to USA, nintendo wii, Liverpool vs Everton tickets, £250 Reward Your thirst, £500 Pepsi, p&o rotterdam trip, perfume hamper, Dr Who stamp set, steam cleaner.
