AugustAt the moment just the MGM which is where I originally planned to stay, other than that I'm going to remain as flexible as possible and see what I come back with.
For some reason the Stratosphere appeals to me though I've heard some distinctly average reviews, and am told the surrounding area is a bit dodgy.
I love the strat, great views from the top, great casino and they have newly remodelled rooms for $39 a night and the old standard rooms for $29 a night, they emailed me a link last week but I guess those prices are available on their website if not I will post link0 -
Septemberdoes anyone have the email addy's of any hosts for MGM properties they could PM me?
Ive got offers via Mlife but want to enquire if i can get any comped rooms later in the year.0 -

Discounted Cirque LOVE tickets -
Nicked for TA - posted, but was just on the Mirage website and booked tickets for LOVE for about half price! After clicking on Reserve Tickets Online, it gave me the option of Adult, or Social Media Social Media.
Also just called reservations and they are also able to book it. Amazing deal if you can find your dates. When I called, the lady said she wasn't sure how long this deal would be on, as she only knew about it because people had been calling to ask about it.
Fantastic...........can't wait to see the show......August can't come soon enough!!!!!!!
i cant get it to work online - so will call later today - coming up at about $150 for 2 tickets in Aug for me, great price
For anyone else interested in this, it seems like the discounted tickets are only available on a fri and sat night (if I am looking in right place) which is a shame as i am off to Sedona for the weekend0 -

MayWe change hotels several times per trip and the only place we haven't been able to get a room straight away is the MGM. We leave the bags with the bell desk and the room is usually ready within the hour.
What we tend to do is ask for a late check out at the hotel we are leaving. We usually get an extra hour until 12 or 1pm free of charge.
The quickest we have done it from leaving the room in one hotel and entering the room in the next is 15 mins. We checked out using the TV, down the elevator, waited for taxi, checked in and up the elevator at the second hotel.0 -
OctoberHi Duchy, we are staying in Flamingo in month time:j, can you please advise some dirt cheap place to have breakfast? The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.0

Some show deals are listed here:

Didn't realise Cirque had done a Michael Jackson show (show is on in December @ Mandalay Bay)0 -
MarchJust go to the coffee shop towards the back of the hotel leading to the valet. You can get a huge muffin, a yogurt parfait, sandwiches, and nice coffee. Then take it outside and sit on the patio overlooking the gardens. A nice peaceful start to the day. We will be there in May even though staying at the Platinum
Have to agree with this...it's not likely the cheapest option if you're like us and have to get a froufrou coffee...but it's a lovely setting...I think it was you mentioning it that made us check it out.
We also want to try Earl of Sandwich for breakfast - not terribly close to Flamingo, but not too far...the regular sandwiches are great and good value (though again, probably not dirt cheap as such)...so we figure breakfast would be worth trying.
In general we think buffets for breakfast are decent deals if you can get a 2-for-1 voucher...in most cases, we think it's hard to screw up breakfast.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

One can usually find a 2 for 1 for Terribles meaning 2 breakfasts for about $5.thats almost impossible to beat.they have a fresh omlette station,we always end up there a couple of mornings, but we do drive there0
