SeptemberCheers for the advice duchy, I'd definitely try checking in as soon as I got to the hotel, my main worry was whether they would have somewhere to stow the bags if the room wasn't ready, seems like they do though.
I had a look at both the Golden Nugget and the Flamingo and they're pretty high up the list of hotels I fancy staying at, I do like the idea of staying on Fremont Street in particular but have heard the Nugget can be a bit pricey on occassion. Still I find sourcing hotels unreasonably exciting so I've got a good few hours of research ahead of me tonight.0 -
We have 4 nights at the nugget in June,m then move onto the flamingo for 5 nights.
The missus signed up for the landrys card. Cost $25 but we get a room upgrade guaranteed when we check in, plus $25 credit at their steak restaurant so kinda pays for itself.0 -

No problem at either hotel "end" storing bags-will cost you a buck a bag in tip-nothing more . Just hand your bags to the valet (usually situated by the taxi drop area ) and they'll give you a ticket for them-then once in your room call down to the valet and they'll deliver them to your room and you tip on delivery.
I really like the Flamingo-not as huge as MGM which personally I find too big -the one thing it was missing was a food court but that is now sorted and there is one just off the main casino floor behind the showroom -and it has Johnny Rockets which is one of my favourite US burger chainsI don't think you can beat the Flamingo for location -when checking for rates make sure you check the "hot deals" option on https://www.flamingo.com as often it's cheaper than just plugging your dates into the normal availability page.

Ellis Island, a 10 min walk behind Bally's. If yout get there before 6am the steak and eggs are $2.99, but still worth $4.99 after than time.
They have other reasonably priced options on the menu.0 -

AugustNot seen this posted on here so apologies if its already been mentioned -
Discounted Cirque LOVE tickets -
Nicked for TA - posted, but was just on the Mirage website and booked tickets for LOVE for about half price! After clicking on Reserve Tickets Online, it gave me the option of Adult, or Social Media Social Media.
Also just called reservations and they are also able to book it. Amazing deal if you can find your dates. When I called, the lady said she wasn't sure how long this deal would be on, as she only knew about it because people had been calling to ask about it.
Fantastic...........can't wait to see the show......August can't come soon enough!!!!!!!
i cant get it to work online - so will call later today - coming up at about $150 for 2 tickets in Aug for me, great price0 -

AugustBeing the indecisive chap that I am I'm now considering splitting my week in Vegas across two hotels. How easy is the process involved, is it just a case of checkout at 10am, go to new hotel, leave bags with front desk then check in at around 4pm?
I have changed hotels dozens of times in Vegas, usually checking in around 11am and only once have I NOT been able to get a room straight away, that was at Flamingo, all other hotels have found me a room, so in my experience you would be unlucky not to get aroom straight away, but yes you can leave bags with bell desk0 -

Terribles if you want a cheap buffet breakfast for about $5 to include all coffe and juices. A bit further than Ellis island though as it is on Paradise rather than Koval (2 blocks behind strip rather than 1)0
