Lots of us staying in May -I'm opposite at CP but like the Flamingo casino better (and they have a rather good show on at the Flamingo too ;) )

I want to try Hash House a Go Go at the Imperial Palace this trip (have a r.com voucher to use)and I usually end up eating at Bills and at the Paris buffet for breakfast too

I'm not too fussed about breakfast been super cheap as I usually eat a huge breakfast and then don't want anything more til evening

If you have a car (free shuttle from Bills doesn't start til 10) try the Orleans for breakfast -just off strip and about $7 for breakfast -I usually eat at their buffet at least once each trip as I like their casino too

When you check in at the Flamingo you'll get some $5 off vouchers at the other buffets-the one at Harrahs is OK, Planet Hollywood better and Paris best of all. I hear the Flamingo buffet has improved and it's nice to sit at a window table and watch the Flamingos and koi butI found the food a bit boring and bland in the past.

Agree and agree...we decided not to go for the gluttonous option on the Groupon at M Resort but I do really want to try Hash House a Go Go for breakfast and the IP location makes the most sense...I've had vouchers for other locations before but never used them as we just didn't get around to it.

We're also in the big breakfast then nothing until dinner camp...especially in the early days of the trip when we're awake and hungry at stupid o'clock. :)

I find those days we don't eat until later and have lunch, then we aren't hungry until 11pm or so, then we eat...then we're not hungry for breakfast...repeat.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

The first blog post from the guy that is staying at all 33 strip hotels is up. He's not in Vegas yet, but is writing about why the Brits love Vegas :D

Can anyone who has used CarHire3000 give me some feedback? We are about to book either a Dodge Charger (£286) or Jeep Liberty (£293) for 11 nights.

We have added me as an additional driver and called up to confirm the price....not used before so any feedback would be great i.e. are there surcharges to pay upon collection in LV?

    Thanks

nope..........although if you have an additional driver, it usually make sense to take the "tank of petrol and additional driver" package for your chosen car.

Groupon Atomic testing museum. Just bought ours
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

On our last trip, we did the Atomic Testing Museum from last time's groupon - was a useful thing to do for us as it:
    - was only about a ten minute walk (max) from Platinum
    - was damp and dull

For the price, it was an interesting way to kill an hour or two :)

Weird how it has part of the WTC in there though??? Not sure what that has to do with atomic bombs!?

You don't think an aeroplane could bring down the WTC do you.........

BTW watch the internet movie "Loose Change" for excellent conspiracy theories on 9/11.

And then theres Apollo Landing conspiracy theories roaming tinterweb (camera crosshairs, light source, dust, wind, radiation)....all very persuasive.....US Government being the common factor in both........
