Sorry but this is why I edited my post (Tried the 6 digit code TC gave me and that won't work either) I added an extra sentence, didn't change airline details
    But thanks.

Maybe ask TC if you can pre-select your seats through them?

Otherwise do be sure to check in online as soon as check-in opens...and use twilight check-in the night before if you can...not sure how much selection will be left. You may be allocated seats already, I'm not sure how it works with TC.

Sorry, I don't know what time Delta starts accepting check ins for a domestic flight - I just know that Virgin check-in opens at 11 for the 4:30 return flight...anytime we've done a domestic flight with a connection it's been in the morning. I've also never short-term parked at T1 (where you would be flying from)...for T2, it's brilliant, right across the road from the parking - usually in and out in 10 mins...for T1, it may be a significantly different story and much more hassle, but still possible. Someone here may know, or you may have to call them and ask.

I have never used it before, but there is a remote baggage check service at some Vegas hotels (not all airlines are signed up though)...I think there's a location at MGM which would be convenient for you and if you were comfortable with using the service it would probably be worth paying a bit extra to avoid the faffing around at McCarran T1...from what I understand, you effectively check in for your flight with them, they take your bags, you pay them a fee (I think I've read $10/bag)...but I don't know much more than that about it.

Can I please ask if the Virgin flight from Gatwick flying at 11.25 is from South terminal? Trying to arrange transport for 10 and think National Express is about the cheapest from Wales. Thank you for all your help, still haven't figured how to book seats as yet, TC gave me a 6 digit code but doesn't seem to work! Getting wary now so will phone TC in the morning tried Virgin but they said to go back to TC,sorry for the rambling , bed is calling!!lol

Just had a look at my Delta itinary online and the return times have changed meaning there is only 51 minutes between connections

It says i might miss my connection and i may be able to change my flight if i ring up.

Is 51 minutes do-able with 2 kids in tow? If i do miss the connecting flight will they just put us on the next one for free?

duffer_83 - it's not an easy choice! is there a reason that you've focused on Mandalay Bay and Luxor? If you give us some ideas what's important to you and your price range people will give you some opinions (we're very good at giving opinions here)...I gather you're late 20s based on your user name? You're only there 3 nights so not a lot of time...any thoughts on what you want to do when there, what your focus might be and what tops your list in terms of a hotel for your trip? If a pool is a big thing, MB's is said to be excellent (I haven't been myself).

sorry have been without the net for a day but that's another story!

i just chose those two as i had seen promotions for them both. there's four of us, all female aged 26/27. none of us have been to vegas before but all have friends and family who have been but are giving us conflicting opinions. i'm not really sure what we're looking for other than it being clean and not more than £100 each for the 3 nights. after reading through as many posts as possible i guess we want to be central-ish but walking wouldn't be a problem if the hotel was good. none of us are that bothered about a pool as we're not there long enough.

    My connection is JFK......

I don't even know what is involved during the time from landing and taking off again! Am i right in thinking we don't have to collect our luggage during a return connection?

I haven't checked into the pricing on this to see if it is a particularly good deal - it seems sometimes when they add a 'freebie' into a hotel package there isn't much savings, if any, from buying the component parts, and it wouldn't suit everyone, but may suit some.

Stay here at *insert HET Hotel Name here* Las Vegas for two nights of fun, and get two Buffet of Buffet passes that get you a full 24 hours of access to seven of the city’s most spectacular buffets. If variety is the spice of life, life has never been spicier.

It seems you only get 2 passes - not 2 per day from my reading...

I think its only 2 passes per stay. I checked the Rio for 2 nights in Aug on F and F, the deluxe room would be $90 total plus tax. On the buffet deal the same 2 nights would be $142 plus tax. so paying about $57 extra for 2 passes. That makes it worthwhile on those 2 nights as it would be saving about $33. (for total rewards members)

Dont know if it works for any other dates though

    Kellyt1981- for children

The Silverton casino has a free large aquarium in the entrance, they have feeding 3 times a day and live "mermaids" are there at scheduled times (check website for times) your children might like it depending on their age. There is a huge bass shop next to it, it sells mainly fishing and hunting gear but my boys (9 and 13) enjoyed looking round and theres's a kids shooting target game, coin operated 25c. It is off strip but not difficult to drive to.

Town Square is also nice for a visit it has a free small play area with water jets (may only be summer with the water, we were there in August). I had 1 playing in there and the older 1 in the Apple store across from the park. They have Easter events on for kids, 23/04 easter egg hunt and family day, all info on website. There is also a cinema.

My youngest likes a trip to toys r us as they can buy things that aren't available in the uk. We go to the one on S Maryland Parkway.

We are also going in April sans enfants, back in August with them!:)

Sorry can't help with the flight issue, we fly direct.
