October... oh, and what's with all you guys buying them and not flagging the deal up earlier on this thread
shame on you
(I checked the thread at lunch but not after - doh! lesson learned- i too didn't realise they sold out in fairness, and probably would've held off buying till later anyways!)
Good call, I thought that as well, oh well I know for the future. The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.0 -
JuneI think my biggest fear is a row of PT Cruisers and nothing else.
I hope Dollar dont use them at LAS & MCO airports! I paid for my Mustang, so if i dont get that, time to open a can of whoop !!! until i get somthing better (escalade/expedition, etc etc)... i know its not convert, but they cost more than the Mustang!
I didnt realise they still made those PT cruisers! Really ugly cars!
Do you pick your car at LAS with Dollar or do they just hand you keys ?0 -
Stuie - read your reservation closely. Have you paid for a convertible, such as a Mustang, or a Mustang?
Dollar say "pick any car from over there".illegitimi non carborundum0 -
Junesays that for my MCO pickup, but didnt know they did that at LAS.....
and i paid for a Mustang, not a similar, just a mustang!0 -
Even though Dollars website saysStandard Convertible
Convertible
Ford Mustang Convertible
(or similar)illegitimi non carborundum0 -
Junemy contract is with Netflights. regardless of being a broker, my contract is with them
and it states Mustang, and lets say i booked over the phone... they said Mustang, the receipt and voucher says Mustang with Dollar.... not similar, so i am none the wiser!
Question is though, do i pick my own car at LAS ?0 -
Dollar will ignore anything on the voucher and will not know or care who Netflights are. All they know is to give you a car in a particular class. If Mustang isnt in that class, or Mustangs all gone, then no Mustang.
However you then have a case against Netflights when you get home for not providing what they said they would proide thru their agents.
And yes, you pick our own car from the row of the class you have paid for.illegitimi non carborundum0 -

I posted it as soon as I seen the email nvh. I was surprised it ran out because I thought they lasted 24 hrs.0 -

Question is though, do i pick my own car at LAS ?If your vehicle class is not readily available upon collection, a similar car type will be substituted at no additional charge.

that would apply, if as indicated by someone else earlier that if the Mustang convertible is deemed to be a different class to other convertibles, then if its gone, its gone!
not to worry though, I suspect you should be ok if picking up from airport - loads of people here have said there's usually plenty of mustang convertibles at that location0 -
I got the email not long before Yozzer posted it at 2.08pm-You should have had a late lunch
(and why aren't you on the groupon Vegas email list anyway ???)
(I missed out too forgetting they can sell out)
A late lunch for me is around 10am unfortunately - far too impatient
I am on the groupon list, but don't usually open it (forgot they have subsequent 'smaller' groupons in there) - and yesterday just binned it off without reading... once again, i learnt my lessonyozzer2006 wrote: »I posted it as soon as I seen the email nvh.
