    I have an appointment at Sta Travel tomorrow (I am a student) and they might be able to offer cheap flights (500-600ish) in which case I can start looking at hotels separately.
    What discounts do STA do for students? Is it for NUS Extra or SU card holders or for under 25s?

    When I've looked before they only seem to offer about £10 off per flight if you're a student or under 26. I tried them to see if my flights would be cheaper but they were not and I'm a post-grad student and under 26. The man was very helpful though and tried a few combinations for me (multi-trip flight).

    I seem to recall the Go rooms with view did and one time in a non view Go room calling down and getting told the non view rooms didn't -but they'd send one up anyway

    We bring a cool bag and fill it with ice each morning and each evening and it works for us for drinks and whatnot (including french vanilla coffee creamer :))...wouldn't work for storing proper food though of course.

    Oh you too ? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Thanks for the response. For the dates I have been looking at, I have actually so far found a package to be cheaper. I can't seem to get any flights for less than 750ish pounds, but I can get flights + 7 nights at Tropicana for not much more than 800 pounds. Then there's 6% cashback from Quidco if I book that through eBookers.

    I assume you are a mature student? otherwise your life will be miserable not being over 21.

    Bit of an exageration -plenty of people go to Vegas without feeling the need to drink or gamble although I do get what you're saying. I've met a few who didn't realize the enforcement of the drinking/gambling laws is entirely different in the US to here.

    No, I'm a final year 22 year old student!
    STA offer "student rates" to anyone under 26, or anyone who's a student. I'll let you know how I get on with my appointment with them.
