It's me again:o Still researching hotels for our 4 days in Vegas at begining of May. Me and my hubby are first timers, not interested in gambling..

Could you please recommend some hotel about 10 min walk to strip where we can get room with coffee maker and fridge for max £50 per night (we are on tight budget)?
    Is there such a place?

Not exactly cheap but the Mandarin Oriental has a small kettle and various tea in the rooms.

    Travelzoo offer
$20 -- Las Vegas Debut of Hit Bee Gees Tribute Show, 55% Off*

A tribute to the world-renowned Bee Gees is coming to the Las Vegas Strip for the first time, and tickets are only $20 (regularly $44.95) exclusively for Travelzoo subscribers. That's a savings of 55% on general admission tickets

I booked these earlier this evening. I was having problems with the site to start with and tried Ticketmaster direct. The total was $125 for the same seats compared to going through the TZ link.

Someone was looking for the Monte Carlo earlier. Don't know if this helps.

  • Hey Rory
Generally hotel rates are higher on Friday and Saturday nights in Vegas and I'm sure Ind. Day will certainly increase rates. Most of us book flights and then look around for hotel deals, preferably refundable as offers can sometimes come up closer to travel dates. Not sure if you've had a look at page 1 but it has some great info and links to help you get your searching started :)

Thanks for the response. For the dates I have been looking at, I have actually so far found a package to be cheaper. I can't seem to get any flights for less than 750ish pounds, but I can get flights + 7 nights at Tropicana for not much more than 800 pounds. Then there's 6% cashback from Quidco if I book that through eBookers.

I have an appointment at Sta Travel tomorrow (I am a student) and they might be able to offer cheap flights (500-600ish) in which case I can start looking at hotels separately.

I'd suggest you take a look at the Orleans-Just off Strip -no need to walk though they have a free shuttle running from 10am to midnight every 20 minutes without fail dropping you off by Bills bang in the middle of the Strip.

Rooms all have coffee makers -food is much cheaper than the Strip. Their $7 buffet breakfast has massive choice -so fill up before hitting the Strip. Most hotels will supply a fridge-not sure what the Orleans charges but it wasn't much from memory.

We've stayed there several times-lots of facilities-nice pool, cinema, showroom loads of eating places including TGIs, Subway etc. Hotel has a shop for milk, water etc if you don't want to walk 5 mins up the road to Walgreens (off Strip so again cheaper).

Rates will definitely fit your budget and rooms are huge with a seperate lounge-ish area

Bit more than fifty quid a night though !
Flamingo has coffee makers and fridges in the Go deluxe rooms too but it doesn't fit the OPs budget either.

Do the Flamingo GO rooms have coffee makers? I dont remember them having them a couple of years ago but a bonus if they have, and GO rooms available for $59 a night in Aug when I am going on
    friend and family

Just checked early May prices for a GO and they are $79 a night so a little over budget (but only a little and a great location).

I always do what Ferf does and buy a coffee maker for about $10 and then leave it behind

To the OP I am with Duchy about the ORleans and def should be within budget. the coffee maker is only a one cup pod type though so still better to buy a proper one IMO
