:D You are welcome ladies :D. Hopefully this will mean I feel more responsible and push me into achiving too! hehe

Elysia - I find being at home all day means I have a really bad food day. My brother has a building business and can eat whatever he wants, and sometimes (like today! eek!) that means there is yummy treats left in the fridge (today=chocolate chip muffins!) and my problem is I just cant say no! Whereas if Im out and about or at work my mind is occupied and I only have the food available that I have with me.

Blue_Eyed : 10 stone?! wow! Well if you did it once you can do it again :D. I guess the advantage of just changing your ways rather than following a plans means that it will be a lifestyle change that will be permanent rathe than a short term fix where you jsut go back to your old ways.

PepPop: I have also been asked the pregnancy question many times. I cried so hard one time. I was in the Post Office and I thought I looked nice that day. It was a hot summers day and the woman infront of me said 'Oh you must find it difficult in this weather. I know when I had my first child I was pregnant over summer and I was so uncomfortable. I didnt really realise what she was saying at first and ,inda just stumbled a reply of 'Oh no its fine im ok' then when I got to the car I cried and cried and cried! For some reason my weight just goes on to my stomach. But Im hoping that means that is where it will leave first haha I guess my motivating is that I want to look in the mirror and smile at what I see looking back at me.

    Hugs back :D

Well, after good intentions I didn't make it to Boots. :( Will definitely go in the morning.

Thanks for sharing your stories Peppop and Blue. Peppop/Giggles, people have asked me if I'm pregnant too - It is so humiliating, but it won't happen to you ever again. Right? ;)

Blue - thanks SOOOOo much for the inspiration. I'll get there with everyone's help.

Giggles - Thanks again. Roll on the next challenge. :D

Damn right it wont happen again ladies :D. Must admit I havent had it since I last did WWs. I am only 10lbs below my start weight but those few pounds obviously make the difference! Infact it was continually being referred to ask pregnant that forced me to man up and join WWs to start with!

Well thats my rice and pasta all portioned up into bags with the points values stuck on :D. I always look at it and think 'oh no thats no where near enough' but obviously with pasta it expands. And the point was made when i just had my tea using one of the portions of rice and it was indeed exactly the right amount! Not too much not too little. So I WILL have faith in the portions now hehe

Hi everyone, I`m back, hangs my head in shame.

I did join way back at the beginning but had a few medical problems and abandoned diet. I went on hols in march and seeing photos best have another go.

I had a text sunday night from SW for £5 off so I thought thats it ....do it so monday I went and weighed in at 12 stone 8:o So I put on 1 1/2 stone since Feb. If I keep going at this rate I dont know what will happen. I spent most of lasy year on a slowwww diet.

Nice to see you all here and this time I`m hoping to stay....

Im 46, have twins 18, and an OH who eats big bars of chocolate regularly:mad:. I dont exercise at all (cant) not even swim. Im suppose to be taking it easy. I love cooking and baking but have cut it down and have banned all sweets and chocolates from the house as I`m a chocoholic

Confession time - I`d eat choc bar with OH then when we went to bed, I`d wait for him to goto sleep and then have a pile of biscuits in one pocket of dressing gown and choc bars in the other. I bought 10 easter egg cheap, had 3 bars of chocolate in each, and I opened the bottom and ate them all. I refilled them and ate them again. I then waited until day before to buy the bars .....:(

ah Susan i can definately relate!!! When my Mum stil lived with us she would buy a bar of chocolate and put it in the fridge. She would then make herself wait as long as possible for it (testing her strength of will or something she said) so sometimes it could be sat in the fridge before she ate it. The result? I would have eaten a replace it three times over by then!

I bought the calculator on wednesday night from my meeting so today has been my first real day of counting and working out the points. Very upset to realise the cream I was so excited about getting (lactose free) is a HUGE amount of points haha Oh well will just have to have half as much as I was planning with my strawberries later then I should be bang on for my daily points allowance today!

The thing that IS concerning me for this weeks WI is that I am going to TGIs the night before. Its with some old friends and it takes us weeks an weeks to find a date of all us can do. We used to do thurs eves (so day after WI) which would have been perfect but this time its tues eve (night before WI!). Im worried that it means Im going to show either no loss or even worse... a gain!... on the scales the next day. Was planning on just having a main rather than 2 courses as normal to try and minimise the damage. Might even get one starter meal of chiken and some fries and have that as my main. No point getting anything like a salad because they have more calories than the bugers!

Hi Susan - good to have you back on board. Sorry to hear that you have had some health problems but hope you are getting things sorted. I think you have to get to a point where you think enoughs enough - I am going to do it. Like I have said, did SW many many years ago and it worked, was a great plan, plenty to eat, loved green days and lost the weight - trouble was as soon as I stopped, went back to old habits - you can guess the rest plus some :o

Not meaning to deliberately sabbotage your efforts girls but .......... been into two different supermarkets today and they have easter choccies at greatly reduced prices (eg Lindt bunnies for 75p). If your willpower is weak - steer clear of this aisle. I've still got a flake egg hidden (for emergencies you understand). It will be safe - whilst the wrapper stays sealed :D Had better check the sell by date - just to be on the safe side - what do you think? :D

Regarding your wi giggles - is there anyway you can bring it forward - to get weighed before you have your night out - just for this week and that will give you slightly longer next week to undo any 'damage'? Whatever you decide - enjoy your night anyway ;)

Having craving for chip shop chips (real ones - not the frozen type). Might just have a few with a chicken wrap and salad - if I go ahead and do it they will probably be damned awful - all hard bits - but I bet I still eat them :D

blue eyed girl - my shopping takes half the time now, I send the OH with a list, if he got any nicies, he has to hide them in the garage and not tell me....lol. I ate choc the other week which was jun 2007....I found it in back of cupboard and on opening it, it looked ok, it went whitish in colour, but tasted yummmm

I just been to cavery OH treat and they gave a free ice cream, I ate chocolate sauce off top and made OH eat the rest, it can be my sins...I do that free and easy diet on SW so no red / green for me....

Chips are not my thing but if I fancy a bag they never live upto my expectations so a few wont hurt you

Giggles - I think blues right cant you check in at another meeting early? Or my sister would drink 4 litres of water the day before and day of weigh in and she always lost. So eat as few calories as you can having saved your points. And then drink drink drink. ANd make sure your near a toilet....

Hi guys. Isn't it great that we're all in this together and can relate to one another :) My biggest downfall is crisps - don't get me wrong I have a sweet tooth, but if I crave anything it's savoury stuff and I can't stop. But hey - we'll get there and at least we're all trying to do something about it instead of just ignoring it.
Thanks for the pregnancy stories, I'm so glad I'm not the only one who has went through that - it's so hurtful, people just don't realise and I found it so hard not to be really snappy back, but as you say it will be the last time they say it :)

Oh good thinking re: weighing in early ladies!I didnt even think of that!!!! Have checked and there are a few meeting I can make tomorrow so will definately head to one of those :D Think it will have to be a lunctime one as the evening ones might be a little too close to my dance lesson so make it in time. Will see how I feel tomorrow haha Had abit of indulgent weekend with a friend staying over but according to my wii I havent put any weight on over the weekend. yay! Just hoping its accurate haha Going to do a lovely wiifit work out tonight too.

I o try to drink alot fo water but I must admit that on weigh in day I dont. I always thought it would still be in my system so would make me weigh more at WI. Definately going to give it a go!

:j:j:j:j I had my 1st weigh in today, I know it was the first week, but it was also the 1st week for 5 others, I lost 5lb, and boy am I happy, never lost 5lb in first week before.

I did try to stick to it and was pleased with my results. I have had to make a few changes since I last did the diet at xmas.

I realised I was eating the wrong bread, and I also realised that latte was 12 points:eek:, I was allowed 10 sins a day. So now I sorted that bit out I`m up and running.

Peppot, know hwat you mean about crisps, I switched to wotsits because they were less and then had to eat 3 bags at a time as they were less sins....I `m going cold turkey now, and have cut sweets and choc out until I can be more responsible.

I made up a sugar free jelly into ramekins and put them in the fridge
. When I am looking for things I eat them or the baby potatoes in skins I have a dish of in there.

Good luck gigles with weigh in tomorrow. Drink the water today as much as you can.....:D
