Xmas Saver!
i know we already have the two threads santas challange and the money making, but looking over the last couple of days theres a few of us for onereason and another have decided that the weight needs to be reduced - I really think that all the bathroom scales are wrong!!

As one lady suggested we should have a weight thread - thought that was an absolutelty brilliant idea (apologies can't remember catching up with the posts and finishing the bottle of lemonade - very mse and finish it, wasteing it would not be money savvy...... but that meant I had to open the martini - just for tasteing purposes!!

It wouldn't be fair to say its a New years eve - diet starts 2mor, lets enjoy New year, finish off the chocolates and enjoy ourselves then make the 5th the weigh in day - whether it e at home, friends, doctors, Boots etc - the 5th be the anniverary date x

So here is born

The thrifty gifty weight loss thread 2011.
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx

I know I managed to loss a lot of weight earlier in the year without actually trying, but uinfortunaltey one thing and another and studying, sweet tooth, boredom eating, need I go on, the weight went back on.

I have a few reasons for needing to shift the weight

    1st - I'm type 2 diabetic - tablet controlled - but not 100% stable
    2nd - I'm on crutches -
    3rd - i have hyperhydrolis - sweat for England - and weight doesn't help
4th - I hit 40 end of march - and even get a 1 stone off be brilliant
5th - to scared of getting my rear stuck in an areplane seat
6th - I've got to do something - can't keep running away with excuses as to why I'm so overweight

When I found out I was having Miss Hoodie I was 120kg (normaly work in stones and pounds but the hospital etc was metric), just before I had her I was 125kg, (think 1kg = 2,2lb - only put on 11lbs and she 7lb 15oz of that)
At my highest weight I went uptp 150kg, briught down to 145kg, then the miracle got down to 132kg, but over the last few months I've comfort eat.

I'm going into town next week, so will do a weigh in at Boots - get a proper figure - be my incentive.

Excellent, I'm definitely up for this! I'll weigh myself on the Wii as that always seems to be very accurate (although I sometimes shout at it that it must be wrong :o)

    Hi All,

I would love to join this one also, my weight has been an issue for longer than I can remember.

At last weigh in I was 19st9lbs, amd only 5'8" so not great. Ideally I'd like to get down to 11st, thats still at the high end of my healthy range but I think its a sensible one.

I comfort eat like crazy and the last 2 years has been tough as I finally managed to file for divorce, my soon to be ex had been physically and in other ways abusive for 7 years and I weirdly thought that if I ate and got obese he would leave me alone - didnt work! But I've kept up the comfort eating throughout the divorce which has led me to put on over 6st in 3 years.

Slowly but surely I think is the way rather than a mad dash to loose it quickly. Anyway, enough of my ramblings, here's to all of us giving it a go.

    Al xx

  • Thanks Mum20ne for starting this thread, I certainly need to loose weight after having 3 kids!! This last year my weight has just risen terribly and its not good for me as I do have health issues as well.

    1, Ehler danlos syndrome.
    2, Sever asthma.

I am not sure of my weight as my scales really are broken so will go into town on tuesday and go to boots and make that my weekly weigh in day :D
