    Hellllloooo Girls

Hope you've all had a good time over the weekend. Got into the garden today to make the most of this lovely weather as things are supposed to cool down during the week (shame).

Trying to get back on track (foodwise) today as I had my treats yesterday. Hope I'm still in the 15s at Wednesday's wi. If I'm not I will just have to get over it I suppose.

I will try to be good this week with it being a holiday weekend next week and I have a feeling we may be 'entertaining' - no not a street party - it will be a more low key affair. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Good luck to you all for this week.

    Bye for now

Hello - Hope you all had a lovely weekend.

Well it's been good and bad in the PepPop household. Bad cos I ate more sweeties than I should, but it's Easter and you've got to have some :o

Good in as much as I have dug out my running shoes, charged my MP3 player and the Couch to 5K podcast is gonna start tomorrow.

I got a bit of a kick up the bum, I found out that my BIL and his wife are coming over from Oz in September and I'm not going to be looking like this when they get here (they're both very fit and healthy and I'm not going to be the chubby one in the corner who can't do anything) So now I have.... A MISSION!!! :)

Did any of you watch the Biggest Loser (american one) on Monday night? One of the trainer tips was...

Stick to your diet / healthy eating very strictly for 3 days
Eat reasonably well for 2 days
Eat reasonably well for 2 days and if you're having any cravings have them on these two days.

Seemingly it stops you from plateauing because you're constantly shocking your metabolism so it doesn't slow down and you keep losing weight.
And the other piece of advice was to eat your big meals early on in the day and make them smaller as the day goes on because your metabolism slows down during the day.

    Sounds good to me

Yeah on the myfitnesspal.com website quite a lot of people are advocates of shocking the body every so often. Ive tried it and it did work!

Well done everyone in your efforts and losses!
The last few weeks I've been not doing too well - 3 weeks with no loss and then 1 week with 1lb gain and then a 3lb loss this week.

So Ive lost a total of 23lbs since 10 Jan. Was 16st now 14st 5. Really want to get 6lb lost to get into the 13 stone region!!

Well done to everyone for their losses and if you haven't lost well done for keeping track of the weight.. thats the key right? being aware of what you are eating and knowing how to change it!

    xx

Weighed in this morning. And I am now under 200lbs!!!!!

    I am 199lbs (14stone 3)... I have lost 25lbs since January 10th and have 27lbs to go... 1 more 1lb and I'll be half way there!

Well done kelda - keep up the good work ;)

Know what you mean about getting to certain numbers. Last time I got weighed at GPs I was 101kgs - next time I hope to have made it into double digits :rotfl:

Think you are onto something with shocking the system. Hope mine has been shocked at the weekend for my weigh in tomorrow. Watch this space.

Good luck everyone for this weeks weigh-ins
