Well done everyone on your loses, blue eyed girl..your such an inspiration to me, im in awe of your weight loss, well done.
Well i weighed myself last tuesday, and began my healthy eating etc, did 30 mins each day on the Wii.
Weighed myself this morning....not an ounce let alone a lb lol.
So annoying though. Oh well will keep trying i guess, but its no fun at the moment. x0 -
:hello:
Thanks everyone for your lovely comments - it certainly helps in keeping me at it - especially when weight loss slows right down or even worse grinds to a halt.
Getting an extra session in at the gym this morning - hope it compensates for any over indulgence that may occur over the long weekend.
Don't know whether system will be up for another shock this weekend kelda - I'd like to think it is
Good luck with your running Pep - I really admire people when I see them pounding around the roads while I'm usually sitting comfortablly on my big backside (ok - not quite as big as it used to be) in my little car. They certainly have willpower.
ilovepugs - well done on the 30 mins a day on your wi. I am not disciplined enough to do any exercise at home. You must be feeling a bit fed up after having a good spell of healthy eating and exercise for the scales not have reflected your efforts. Don't give up - keep at it - it will show up soon.
Even though I quite enjoy these long weekends - I think I will be glad to get back into my usual routine.
Good luck to everyone especially if you are finding things a bit tough at the moment.SPC NO 041STARTED SW 04/14 - TARGET 05/16 - TOTAL LOSS 10ST 3.5LBS :dance:0 -
Thanks Blue-eyed-girl I've always wanted to run a marathon but I'm quite a way off from that. :rotfl: unless I roll my way round :rotfl: I did start running years ago but I ended up with Erythema Nodosum and had to stop and haven't ever got back into it. Until now...
Good luck to eveyone - we can do it.0 -

Hi guys. I went shopping last night and got lots of nice healthy food. I had my breakfast before going to work this morning (I normally eat it at tea-time) and made a lovely packed lunch. I'm going out running / walking tonight so hopefully this weight will finally come off.
I'm going to change my signature to numbers of pounds and when I reach them I'll change them to smiley faces. Got the idea from another thread0 -
:hello:
Well it's this time again (confession time) - here we go -
Weight 27/4/11 - 15st 11lbs
Weight 04/5/11 - 15st 10lbs
Total loss this week - 1lb
Total loss since June 2010 - 6st 10lbs
Not too bad a result in view of some of the things that have passed my lipsHad two and a half pieces of homemade chocolate cake which had a chocolately truffley filling made with chocolate, cream and baileys - just couldn't resist. Taken out for tea last night - thought oh well carvery won't be too bad - wrong. Plate piled with meat - probably a normal weeks allowance of meat. The veggies were delish - may have had something to do with the nice buttery taste they had.
Thought that was it - only to find that teatime special included a free dessert
- lovely apple crumble with what tasted like homemade vanilla ice-cream (it was scrummy).
After all that - i'm back on track today with a visit to gym tonight and hopefully an extra session in the morning. Will try to be good until the weekend when I think we are entertaining.
Good luck to you all for your weigh-ins this week.SPC NO 041STARTED SW 04/14 - TARGET 05/16 - TOTAL LOSS 10ST 3.5LBS :dance:0 -

Hi Pep - ooooohhh your medical condition sounds painful - had to look it up as I hadn't come across it before. You sound as though you have your head in a good place at the moment and so organised. Like the idea for your sig.
Just realised I only have about four weeks to go to celebrate my healthy eating regime's 1st birthday and about 4lb to lose to hit the 7st loss. That would be a good milestone to hit wouldn't it? Yes it is doable but as soon as I make a target for myself - things have a habit of going wrong. Watch this space :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:So I'm not saying its my target but ..................SPC NO 041STARTED SW 04/14 - TARGET 05/16 - TOTAL LOSS 10ST 3.5LBS :dance:0 -
Well I have fallen off the wagon and havent been to WWs for a whole month! eek! So headed back to face the music tonight and I have only put on 1/2 a pound! Quite pelased with that! So target for next week is to get off that half a pound and another one as well!
I am going to spend some time this week portioning up some of my food. Frist on my list is cereal. I used to have porridge which is already in sachet but dont fancy it in this weather so have been filling the bowls with cereal, and well, lord knows how much Im putting in there! So have got some sandwich bags and am going to weigh it all out and point it ready so each morning I know where I am up to. Think I might also do this with pasta as I am guilty of over indulging in this too!0 -

I know - neither had the docs. It took weeks before they realised what I had. I was treated for so many things before they finally made the right diagnosis and got put on so many tablets I broke out in a rash from my head to my feet. :rotfl::rotfl: I was a red spotty mess with stitches from different biopsies only to be told after I went through it all that it's caused by an allergy to the Pill. Stopped taking it and was back to normal within a week :rotfl::rotfl:
Wow that would be a fantastic milestone to reach on your WL birthday!! What an achievement!! You'll do it :j:T
Giggles That's great - if I fell off the wagon for a month I'd probably put on 1/2 stone. Great to see you back into it. Clever idea with portioning your food. I think that's a major downfall - I think I'm doing well by choosing healthy food but eat way too much.
Well guys, I went for my first run last night :j:j:j Not going to say it was pleasurable (apart from the squirrel jumping out on me) but I've started :j:j
Keep going everyone :wave:0
