The last few weeks I've been not doing too well - 3 weeks with no loss and then 1 week with 1lb gain and then a 3lb loss this week.
So Ive lost a total of 23lbs since 10 Jan. Was 16st now 14st 5. Really want to get 6lb lost to get into the 13 stone region!!
Well done to everyone for their losses and if you haven't lost well done for keeping track of the weight.. thats the key right? being aware of what you are eating and knowing how to change it!

Did anyone else sign up to the NHS Choices summer campaign? www.nhs.uk/summer
I have signed up to all 4 categories (Lose Weight, Healthy Eating, Start Running, Get Fit) and am looking forward to the weekly tips coming through for the next 2 months starting next week. (and for my free gym pass!)
If there are a few people that have joined, I have set up a new thread where we can discuss the tips, and help keep each other motivated and update on progress through them.

Thanks Blue_eyed_girl!
Think I have got the first emails today...Will read them and go and post on the forum. The conversation on there at the moment doesn't seem too related so would be great if you post on there too once you have a min to let people know which you signed up for and what you think0 -

I would be concerned that on of these weights is incorrect. I remember a few years ago when my Mum used to always weigh herself in boots on the same machien every week. One week it told her she had lost something like 5lbs. She knew this seemed a little unrealistic as she was loosing 1-2lbs steadily each week. So she weighed in on the other machine there which shows a 2lbs weight loss. She went and told the sales assistant who turned the machine off and said they would have it realigned, I think they have to do it every so often?
Also was it the same time of day, wearing the same clothing etc? Its the growth spurt of an inch that makes me think maybe one was wrong. So dont be disheartened thinking you have put on0 -

Georgiegirl - does that mean you've put on weight in your hair :rotfl::rotfl:
Sorry couldn't resist
Esmer Good luck on the house move
Well I'm still plodding on - trying to make healthy choices and it seems to be working. Although MIL handing me a bag of sweeties yesterday doesn't help - but I've had 1. Made some yummy banana and walnut bread and had two thin slice of that since yesterday (it was either make that or throw the bananas away so kinda MSE but not very diet-E) I sorted out my wardrobe and looked at all my lovely summer clothes that I can't get into and that has spurred me on. Oh and OH has stopped smoking today and is eating us out of house and home so that'll help my weight loss mission too :rotfl:0 -
That's it, putting my foot down with a firm hand and getting serious about this weight loss thingy! I've been playing at it for a week or so and am feeling grotty, fat and very cross with myself . Been into Mr A this pm and bought sensible food only, how fortunate I went in at 3.15pm on a Sunday when the staff are marking down lots of fresh in the aisles
. I'm going to start exercising more regularly as well, my one class a week is hardly going to help, so I have to be disciplined (which isn't me at all
) and get on with doing more at home. Will keep to my Thurs weigh-day, I didn't even bother last week which proves I know I put lbs on!
My current weight is far too much for someone of five feet nothing, I'm taking DM on her birthday treat cruise on 4th June and don't want to be mistaken for the ballast!
