Julie03 well done on the lb loss, have you seen what 1lb of fat looks like, my friend sent me a picture last year when I was getting down about only losing 1lb each week http://ukladyluck.co.uk/1-pound-of-human-fat/ so be really proud of that 1lb!! xxx
Well havent been online all week really, trying to get my head around PROPOINTS, I dont think the whole diet clicked in my head until midweek but WI this morning and Ive lost 4lbs so its obviously working.
Good luck with weigh ins this week everyone, going to spend the morning on the WII playing Just Dance 2 - exercise is an issue, im a lazy bum!!

Right, I'm joining...kind of. lol If it's ok with all of you I'm going to wait until Monday 7th Feb! A few reasons...
1) I hate January and the last thing I need is to restrict myself on the things I eat - I'll only get more miserable!
2) I have quite a few yummy food bits and bobs left over from Christmas and I don't want to waste them (not exactly MSE is it to just chuck em!)!!
3) It's hubby's birthday on the 6th feb and we're going out for a nice big meal, so...well, explains itself doesn't it!
I, like some of the rest of you, put on weight when I left for Uni and had my own money and could buy what I wanted!! Booo. Had my daughter last year and amazingly lost half a stone!! (It's because she squished my stomach so much, I couldn't eat!! lol). I joined Weight Watchers online for 3 months last summer (worked out free what with Quidco!) and that was great as it gave me the tools to monitor what I was eating. I don't want to go to weekly meetings to humiliate myself in front of people and pay over the odds for the priviledge! However, short of getting pregnant again just to lose weight (!!!!! lol), I think I do need someone to force me to weigh myself each week and report on any loss or gain.
I try to go to Zumba on tuesday night, but OH has just informed me that for the next 7/8 weeks he has to work late on Tuesdays and although he's HOPING to be home around 6.45 (Zumba starts at 7!) there's no guarantee. Booo. So because of our daughter, I obviously can't guarantee I can go each week, which is SO annoying as I really enjoy it! I'm still in shock about that - exercise I actually enjoy!! Unfortunately most of the other Zumba sessions are earlier in the evening (which doesn't suit my work hours).....
Anyway, that's me. I'll report my weight when I weight at the start of February!!

Thanks for the 1lb of fat picture - is quite a bit. Hoping for 2lb a week now, but suppose I shouldn't be down with 1lb!0

Hi all,
Well done to everyone for the losses this week.
I weighed myself this morning and despite exercising and sticking to my points all week I only lost 1lb. I know its still a lb off but I was hoping for more as its the first week. I did however, take measurements and am happier that I've lost 3.5 inches
I've been exercising on the wii fit and I walked into town to get the shopping instead of taking the car. I've also had a go on dd's new wii dance exercise game. OMG, definately one to do when you're on your own.
keep it up everyone

well done everyone it's taken me all of Coronation Street to catch up!
I have lost 3lb - I'm quite pleased as I have had the odd packet of crisps and a few bits ( marzipan tonight!) and am eating the same as OH and 3 children - just less than I normally would.
I have been having soup once a day and have cut down on chocolate and biscuits.
Watching Biggest loser now!
I have used my pedometer everyday and have done at least 10,000 a day did nearly 18,000 one day. It has made me be more active as if it was low at dinner time then I would walk around more and use my stepper.
I have treated myself to a 'clothkits' skirt - you sew it yourself and my aim is to wait until June and then sew it in whatever size I am! Also by then I hope I will fit into my wetsuit! Plus I will put £3 in a jar and that will go towards the skirt and if I keep on track I will be able to afford the really nice bustle skirt, that for me is quite expensive plus I should need new underwear!
So lots to think about and keep me focussed - I hope!
Keep up the good work everyone - love the lb of fat picture!

I weigh in tomorrow and I'm just hoping not to have gained any. I did do an hours walking today and 45 minutes on the Wii Fit (a combination of hula hoops and steps) and will hopefully do some tomorrow as well.
Breakfast was toast and fruit, lunch egg salad and fat free yoghurt and dinner was vegetable soup. Well, on my last weigh in of my prepaid countdown I have put on 1lb. So in the 12 weeks since I rejoined I've lost a grand total of 2.5 lbs.
don't think my head is in the right place to go to a club, I would rather be frugal and save my £5 a week so I am going to try and eat sensibly, and if I can do that, then, considering I'm 6 stone overweight for my height, it should slowly come off anyway
I am lucky enough to have a fancy weight machine in work, so I'll get on that in the morning and use Tuesdays as my weigh in day.
Keep going everybody xxx0 -
4 LBs off for me today so I am over the moon. :j0

Thanks to Chris Moyles(!) this morning when he talked about a app on the radio Ive downloaded a great FREE! app on to my android HTC - I would think it will be available on the iphone too.
My fitness pal
It has a website too at https://www.myfitnesspal.com
You can record what you eat and how many calories it has and what exercise youve done and how many calaroies youve burnt (it works it all out for you) and then it tells you your aim of calories to lose (or remain steady or gain) x amount of lbs per week.
Its really good!0
