Well done everyone on your fantastic losses. We all seem to be getting into the swing of things. No doubt we will have blips along the way but we just have to draw a line under them and start again without undoing all the good work we have done.

I still had two boxes of Pringles (nice flavours) left over from xmas and decided to give them to my bro and told him that they would look much better on his hips than mine :rotfl:

Had a good day so far today foodwise but going to have lasagne for tea with loads of veggies and hopefully I will be good then til bedtime. Just dawned on me that it is official weigh-in day tomorrow  and on my unofficial weigh-ins things haven't changed much - oh well all will be revealed to you all in due couse.

    Keep up the good work

Well, I weighed in today and I've lost 3lbs! Yippee :j

That has really pleased me as after hurting my shoulder, I haven't been able to exercise as much as I wanted. I haven't felt deprived of any food and I've just made sure I eat loads of veggies with my meals.

I had a lovely lunch today, half my plate was full of salad (lettuce, red cabbage, grated carrot, tomatoes and cucumber with one slice of prosciutto diced over the top), one quarter had steamed carrots and baby corn and the other quarter had two hard boiled eggs. It was really tasty and kept me full for ages.

  • Hi Everyone,

tomorrow is my first weigh in. I am quite confident that I have lost a couple of pounds - if not I will be gutted - I have been eally good. My exersice has let me down but I have been moving more.

I have just watched the biggest loser and the heaviest guy was only about 3 stone heavier than me and he looked huge - so obviously I look huge. I couldn't believe the weight loses in one week and the amount of exercise they did. It will be interested to see what happens over the next few weeks.

Zumba - I have just googled it - it looks fantastic, maybe I will try when I have lost a few stone, I will concentrate on the walking for 5 mins every hour for now.

I will let you know the results tomorrow. I'm feeling very positive:T

Been missing for a few days due to no laptop but now have a shiny new one so no excuse for not posting my progress - or otherwise!

Weighed in on Sunday and have lost another 2lb, so 9lb altogether since 26/12. It's slowed down as I thought it would, but at least it hasn't gone the other way :D

Will catch up with the posts tomorrow but for now my bed is calling so night night, sweet dreams,

Hi dee - its my weigh-in tomorrow too - hope I'm not too disappointed as scales seem to be sticking over the past week. I saw the Biggest Loser - wow - they had incredible losses in their first week. You will find as your weight comes down you will find moving around easier and all of a sudden you will be doing things that you used to struggle with. I like your idea of walking for five minutes every hour - that will all mount up. Someone suggested to me that instead of sitting on the sofa watching the soaps - when the adverts come on - keep going up and downstairs until programme comes back on. Sounds good but I haven't tried it yet.:)

Zumba seems to be quite popular in my area - I wouldn't mind -but I really really really lack any sort of co-ordination but have been told that I will still be burning calories. Other members would be burning even more - rolling around laughing at me :rotfl:

    Good luck with your weigh-in

    Hey Blue eyed girl!
I wouldnt worry about the lack of co-ordination,really no one is looking at you because theyre all too busy dancing away!
I still struggle to remember my left from my right [honestly!!] and i really enjoy it.
I am going tomy Zumba class tomorrow since before Christmas, makes me feel brilliant after!
Not too bad on the food front ,could be better though!Must do some more exercise too.I get soooo lazy when its raining outside as even my dog hates the rain and wants to get home!
