Well, 'they've' just put in a handrail - ie big length of dowel -on the wall side of the stairs. I could tell them it's in the wrong place and should be vertical...except that it's bare wood and any splinters would send me back to the top before you could say fireman's lift  :rotfl:

Now theres a thing.... Pole Dancing...... that would get rid of the calories.... probably get rid of me too:rotfl: I like the sound of Zumba though.

Fantastic weight losses again girls :j:T

Still going good at the flourgirl house, even hubby has lost 3lb :T Got more ww meals and desserts today while they are on offer at Mr M's.

PepPop well done sticking to your points, how many are you having? I need to be careful with mine tomorrow DIL has invited us for a Roast dinner think I will take my own pudd.

In the local free paper today one of the headlines on the losing weight page was "Curb your chocolate cravings by eating salad":rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: It said salad boosts magnesium levels which stave off cravings for chocolate... not in my mind it doesn't lol

    Today.. easy day
Porridge, skinny latte - Cheese spread & cucumber sandwich, apple - ww Lasagne & salad ww yogurt 2 satsumas.

    Afternoon all,

Does this thread have an official weigh in day? I know I'm not officially starting until Feb, but Thought it wouldn't hurt to weigh now, and just before I officially start in Feb to see how I do normally! lol

Well done everyone! Oh, and Zumba's fab! Went last night - first one since end of Nov (blinking snow....)!

    Clare x

It was going to be once a month weigh it, I didn't expect the thread to take off as well, which is absolutely brilliantly, so we're going for the as and when you want to weigh, but use the start as either your weight and how much you want to loose over the yr or just target.

If we do the final weigh in by 20th Dec, then if we have a blinge!!! at xmas we haven't got to worry about that. xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx

    I am a happy bunny today 4.5llb loss.:T

Day 13 and I still haven’t had a drink, and I could have killed for one this week. My car has broken down and the garage doesn’t seem to know what is wrong with it – I am dreading the bill. I generally feel run down and I think I’m getting an abscess on a tooth.

But hey, I don’t care I have lost 4.5llb I have done a little exercise but not as much as I would like. I would never have believed that such a small amount would boost my confidence so much!!!

It was biggest loser UK that I watched but I will be catching up with the us one at the weekend.

I will be trying to do a menu and exercise plan for the coming week - the intentions are good but life seems to get in the way.

Keep up the good work everyone.

Please note that I put the wrong start weight on my first post I have now amended my signature.
