Well done Blue Eyed Girl that's brilliant! We only have massive plates at home, so perhaps I need to change that. Thinking about it, I do always fill the plate with food, so the smaller plate idea may help me quite a bit.
And well done to everyone else who is dropping the pounds, I hope to be joining you soon!
I'm going to look into joining the gym, either that or renting a treadmill for a couple of months. My DH needs to lose a lot more weight than me and he's quite keen on exercising at home rather than in front of people, so having some equipment at home might be a good idea.
I'll be weighing myself tomorrow and working out exactly what I've got to lose. I haven't stepped on any scales for 6 months, so I'm hoping it won't be too unpleasant a shock!!0 -
thanks tracey and apocasaver for your comments - hope the plate idea works for you both too
susan - i'm doing 'SPC4' - so I see what u mean :rotfl:
Still got this lousy cold and I am due at the gym tonight for the big weigh-in! Have tried to keep busy this morning catching up with chores and tidying away all the xmas stuff. Carried hoover upstairs and was totally out of puff before I had even switched it on :rotfl: Things don't look too promising for the treadmill later!
Might have to have a lie down before I go to gym and be well medicated to get me through the session.
Just had some toast and 'dry-fried' egg with a smidge of ketchup and some fresh fruit salad - doesn't sound too bad - does it?
Will update you all later.

Hi all
You're all doing really well, and everyone sounds very positive and eager!
For mum2one's list
Goal - lose 7lbs
This week minus 1 lb0 -
Scrap that - I never weighed myself after Christmas.
I'm 16 stone = BMI of 31.2
Did over an hour of walking on the treadmill this morning!kelda_shelton wrote: »Okay! Can I join?
15.5 stones 5ft 11 = BMI of 30.3.
Want to be 12.5 stones = BMI of 24.4.
So want to lose 3 stones or 42 pounds.
Last time I was that size.. or 12 stone actually was March 2006. Just before I met my husband!! And I'd say 90% of that was down to lots and lots of walking!0 -
Dont know if anyones interested but Weight Watchers frozen ready meals are 71p in Morrisons and the frozen desserts are 68p!!!
Gutted I bought some in Tesco yesterday at £1 but I bought a few more today! Offer on until the 18th! I only eat chicken but can recommend the chicken hotpot as its lovely and only about 300 calories I think! Nice with a bit of broccilli! Also can recommend the Caramel Crunch frozen pud! Yum very nice! Although a lot of WW stuff filling the shelves in £land biscuits and crisps etc!:xmassmile**New** Thrifty Gifty Money Making for Christmas and all occasions 2012**:xmassmileMember No. 11 of Happy Chappy's Clip Strip Club!
