  • There is a jogging thing on the wii where you jog on the spot so I should think it would be fine. Running up and down stairs is really good exercise.

Could you find a walk/jog buddy when you feel ready to go out?

Witchwoo.. If i can't be bothered to spark the wii up or go out to exercise I spend 10 minutes running on spot , starting slowely speeding up then slowing down ect do stretches before and after. Then I do 30-50 sit ups depending on how much energy/motivation I have, then 10 push ups..then more stretches and I do a couple of yoga poses to end it all lol. It does make you sweat and heart beat and makes you feel good :) as long as you have a bit of floor space and puff in you then its cool :) plus you can do little or lots depending on fitness/ability ect :)

Slimming world roast dinner is almost done , just tidied/hovered room , done some exercise and stretches , had a bath :)

Does anyone else feel that they "do more" when focused and dieting lol x

Well get this girlies my loving OH is sitting on the sofa eating a kebab!!!
Anyways total caloeies yesterday was 883!!! Today I have been a bit more sensible and am at 1452!
I dont follow any diet just make up my own! Lol! No bread is number 1 rule! And most veg and fruit I dont count calories! Also no eating after 7pm well supposedly although I do allow fruit!
My excercise, you may well laugh, is dancing but not just any dancing! We turn the music channel on and me and my 2 year old rock out for at least half hour! Its quite fun and as long as I am red faced, sweating and heart racing I feel I have done something right! Also my boy weighs 3 stone and often wants lifting and carrying whilst dancing so thats my weight lifting! lol

  • Well, I lied. 15.8 is not the heaviest i've ever been. It is however the weight I am today. Apparently I was 15.11 and a half when I joined up 10 weeks ago. I hadn't been for the past month due to me being ill and snow, and Christmas, so having only put on 4.5 in that time is really good. I remembered I have a pilates machine as well, which I've had about 18 months (and only used half a dozn times) I will have to clear some space and get back into that as well.

We were given a soup recipe that sounds vile, but apparently tastes nice.
    tin of baked beans
    tin of tomatoes
    plenty of salt and pepper
    one pickled onion.

    Very frugal.

Would he use his wheelchair to help you lose weight, a good long walk pushing him would be good excercise.
Or you could try Legend mums idea and dance

Is that all you have eaten today? That's not enough I would say, you need about 100-1200 cals even when dieting
