I know a few of us have wii's thou I haven't got as far as going near dds wii fit - until the dog chewed the wires it was Monoploy was flavour of the month, she wanted to get all the boards unlocked!!
These are the 2 exercise discs got (thou I will admit haven't tried them, but they look good) and got the 3rd on reserve.
(the reserve) cat no - 923 9425 - £12.99
EA sports active - more sports workout
figured that as got the original that comes with some equipement - this follows on -more exercises
got -but not used yet...
Original EA sports active - 9239425 - £15.99
this one includes some exercise gear
Your shape fitness focused on you includes camera - 900 8278
the reason I brought this one it has a camera (help!!), but the camera tracks movement and gives advice to improve (working on the theory less chance of doing sumthing silly and doing more damage)
Bear in mind any exercising attempt will be done at night - all windows closed - everyone else in bed!! xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -

This will be good for me as the last time i went on it was just befor i stopped going to weight watchers so i will be able to see how much i have gained since then.
I got my oh connect for the wii for xmas so may have to steal it for awhile and find a good deal on the exercise game.Looking forward to new ventures :beer:0 -
Okay! Can I join?
15.5 stones 5ft 11 = BMI of 30.3.
Want to be 12.5 stones = BMI of 24.4.
So want to lose 3 stones or 42 pounds.
Last time I was that size.. or 12 stone actually was March 2006. Just before I met my husband!! And I'd say 90% of that was down to lots and lots of walking!0 -
Hello and welcome to all our new members
I don't think I put my goal for this month. I would like to lose 5lbs by February as that is what I have put on in the last couple of months.
My overall goal is 9st 11 lb as that is what the little man on the Wii says is my ideal weight. I think it must be at least 10 years since I was anything close to that!
Thanks for all the low calorie tips. I bought some frozen fruit when I was in Tesco last, they had 3 trays for £5. I use them for making tasty smoothies and puddings with low cal ice cream, yummmmm.Making money for Christmas 2012!0 -

Here goes
I posted on New Years Eve to join the challenge and said I would come back with further info on myself and my reasons for joining. Today I am 11 stone 4lbs and at only 5ft that is quite heavy. I did ww 3 years ago and reached a goal of 8 stone 5 which I was very pleased with but with family issues and lack of motivation on my behalf I let the weight come back on. Today I know this is not good and with a dd, like others have posted, I need to set a good example to her re healthy eating and the benefits of exercise. I have also struggled with my weight for what seems like an eternity and as my husband and I will be turning 40 in the next few years I dont want to be as others have said fat and forty. So yesterday I started online with ww. I am really motivated as I have just read The Secret. I plan to reach 9st 2lb to be at the top of my healthly weight range by June. Good luck to everyone I hope we all share the ups and downs on this challenge together. I update at the beginning of Feb re how things are progressing.Member of New TG Weight Loss Challenge:

Waffling on from my previous post, there are a couple of good reasons for me to lose weight. Pretty much everyone dies from heart disease in my family and the majority of them have diabetes. I also have a bad back and a shoulder problem, so any weight I can lose will be good.
I was fairly good yesterday, boiled eggs for breakfast, fruit salad for lunch, half a small pie and a plate full of vegetables for supper and then some fruit crumble for pudding (these last two were leftovers that needed using). I'm trying to remember to make sure I drink enough water, this tends to be one of my downfalls.
Exercise wise, I'll be doing a lot of walking. When I'm at work, I have a four hour break-not enough time to come home, so I'll use it to go walking through the park. One of the lakes is around 1 mile, another is 3 miles. So, I'll work up to the larger one. I'd love to buy a Wii, but money is quite tight. I do have some Christmas money though, as does my BF, so we've put that aside and will add to it when we can.
One thing I would add in for those worried about eating too much or too little, have a go at this http://www.livestrong.com/thedailyplate/ You can track what you are eating and how many calories it contains. It has a massive list of food and you can add in your own things as well. I'm not fond of counting calories as I get obsessive about it, so just try to swap foods for healthier ideas.Grocery budget in 2023 £2279.18/£2700Grocery budget in 2022 £2304.76/£2400Grocery budget in 2021 £2107.86/£2200Grocery budget in 2020 £2193.02/£2160Saving for Christmas 2023 #15 £ 90/ £3650 -

Okay weigh in for me: 198lbs which is BMI of 31!! Would like to obviously aim for the healthy range, say 24? That would mean an ideal weight of around 150lb. If I aim for 2lb a week that should be me down to 190 by the end of january. Fingers crossed!
