Freeze grapes and suck on them like boiled sweets
Freeze a yoghurt - it takes ages to eat with a spoon once it's frozen. You have to scrape it out.I :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!

Hello all
can I join please? I want to lose about 4 stone - I haven't weighed myself in months but will wigh myself when I visit my mum later on for tea.
I'm Sarahe and i did ww in 1992! I hit 45 last year and have 3 children 9,7,and 5 that I need to start setting a good example to.
I need to eat better and exercise more. I'm hoping that an internet group will
a) save me money - if I put £3 in a jar each week when I weigh on Monday then I can save for something nice
b) to keep me on the straight and narrow - when I've done it at home I give up after 2/3 weeks
c) read success stories and help encourage others - I did the biggest loser one for a few weeks and having a 'buddy' helped
So what do I need to measure? Weight in kg or stones and lbs?
Do I measure any other bits of me?
Is the first goal the first week in Feb or will it be every monday?
how exciting . . . .. .
Hi
Welcome to the thread, def agree with the idea of money in the jar, think of the treats.
Measure - Id think I'd need 2 tape measures joined together!! as weight which ever you find easiest to work in, I usually do lbs and stones - but I've just used kg for me as thats all my gp tells me, -
We're casual and loose on here, basically go for the 1st week in Feb, that way were all be near scales somewhere.
If you put a goal to how much you want to lose or anything, its free and easy approach, what ever anyone feels comfortable with. xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -

Think 1970 some of our parents were busy - must have been the 70s powercuts (sorry I have an odd sense of humour, but a heart of gold).
Hope hubby takes you somewhere nice.
