Been for a run today (6miles) quite hard after a few weeks off so need to build back up to regular level again like in Dec before the cold and Christmas kicked in!
Tomorrow off for a walk in the Peak District around 7miles I think
Then mught start the dreaded Shred again this week if can't spare the time to get out running due to assignment deadline next week
Will weigh myself at work on Tuesday then take my measurements again. I can feel my waistline has increased again in size after it went down last year so looking forward to exercising more and getting some inches off rather than lots of weight

Well, I've just done the dreaded weigh-in on the Wii. Drumroll please ..................... 11st 12lbs, I've put on 5lbs in the last couple of months. I'm not happy but to be honest I thought I'd have put on more with all the rubbish and chocs I've been eating!
As a guideline, how many calories is good to be eating when dieting? I know the recommended for women is 2000 to just maintain your current weight, but what's sensible when dieting? I remember being told that if you eat too few then you don't lose weight as quickly as your body holds on to the fat, is that right?Making money for Christmas 2012!0 -
Evening Ladies. Day 6 of my Healthy eating plan has gone really well and I managed 50 minutes on the Wii and burned off 200 calories
I have tomorrows food planned out too, I find it helps to be organised.
Witchwoopiggy I dont think you have eaten enough today so no wonder you are hungry hun. If you look at the SW website you will find a weeks menu already planned out, even if you dont want to do SW it will give you an idea of what to eat and how much. I have nothing to do with SW but thought you might find this helpful. Dont be hungry, there are loads of low calorie filling foods that can helpx

Nicky I think its about 1200 for a nice steady weight loss.
Legendmum Why not have some porridge Oats 30gm covered with water 2mins in the microwave add a bit of sweetener and some milk to cool, thats not many calories its filling and oats are good for you. It will stop the rumbly tums too0 -
Legend - 1000 cals is still too little - 1,200 to 1,500 is the norm for a diet.
If you feel hungry when you've have your allowance eat some sugar free jelly. I make it up with a few spoonfulls of water in a jug - microwave it until dissolved, and then make it up to the pint mark with diet or sugarfree lemonade. It fills the gap for a bit, until bedtime.I :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!
