I am nearly out of the pink cards my SL gave me to give to people interested in becoming Reps. I'm trying to order some now, but not sure what they are called. They are pink and about joining Avon and you can write your contact details on the back. On the website there is something called General Contact Cards, are they the ones?
Going into town to find Reps tomorrow. Any tips on how to approach people?M May11 55886.810 -

I signed up 15 ish days ago and have now resigned, no ASM in my area, no support and no books yet they still wanted me to be a SL and sign people up! I had managed to work out the mapping system, etc myself but the final straw was no books. I can do alot but not sign up people and give them no books!
Just sent an email to the ASM that I was in touch with from another area and asked her to de-activate my SL account.
Back to being a rep again!

Really sorry, Sugar, but am confused.... who's 'they' i.e. who is wanting you to continue without any support?
SL'ship has its ups and downs but I agree, without any upline support is nigh on impossible.Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

Its worth looking at future books and seeing if it goes back down to that price it was in c8.... then order it when it at that price again (aslong as its within the next 90 days) and claim credit for the one you ordered this time... sending back the item you get delivered in the future as though it is the one you have now?? Lol Sorry i know that sounds really confusing so i apologise!!:rotfl:
That's 'Creative Returns' very succintly put. :TMake the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

to Has anyone else noticed a decrease in sales compared to last year??
Err.... yes. Money is obviously very tight.
Can't make an easy comparison though because I have an unusual operandi - my customers this year are totally different to the ones last year. (I'm now concentrating on building my team rather than maintaining PC status.) I tend to convert customers to reps and then give them my other customers on their street. Makes sense to me but there again I could be totally wrong....Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

Id focus on the rep side of things for a while and see if your ASM situation changes and maybe then try again if you feel it is right for you?
Totally agree, unless there's the options to switch teams to one where you'll have a more supportive upliner?
Have no personal experience of this but I have been told of certain exceptionally successful upliners, who even offer incentives ( e.g. sat nav's/TV's) to switch  so definitely got to be worth looking into.........Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

Thanks - that does make sense! It's the Diamond Dazzle eyeliner - not sure how to check what price it is in the future. I've managed to put all my C10 brochures through doors and not kept one!!
Think I will print a nice IOU note for the free gifts. I ordered some handcream which was only about 75p, so seems a bit of a cheap amount to give off a next order. Does it happen often that clearance stocks run out when it shows as ok on your order? Guess I should order a few extra bits just incase?
Agree with Lozza, ask your upliner if they have a couple of freebies in their stock to help you out. (I've posted things to my team before now!)Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

Oh dear but in that case.... just don't put an order in! Your a/c will stay open even if you miss the odd campaign/order and on the upside, generally speaking, if you starve your customers of a book they're more likely to order the next time.
On the other hand, check out your HT clearance and see if there are bargains, which make it worth your while to hold a party/boot sale. Remember you now need to order £10+ to avoid the £2.50 delivery charge.
Good luck with your next campaign.Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

1 day before my c10 goes in and i havent put a c10 book out yet and still have deliveries from c9 to deliver... so dont worry :rotfl:
Oh bless, sounds like you deffo need some support somewhere along the line. Having said that, life happens (as you know) and there are more important things sometimes than servicing your Avon customers.
Good luck with everything you're battling.
