I need a bit of advice if you don't mind ladies!
My balance at the moment is £238.78 but I have requested credits for 3 things now (2 in one "order" and 1 in another) totalling £55 brochure price that I have not sent back yet. Do I pay the £238.78 now and wait for the credits later or should I pay the £238.78 minus "my price" for the items I'm sending back?
I always pay the balance, minus the credit amount and never had a problem. The amount owed usually corrects itself after a few days.0 -
I was thinking of becoming an avon rep. I can see from this thread that a lot of people make little to no money (or end up in debt!) but what I was wondering was what is the situation at christmas time? I mean, surely customers snap up gift sets. Do any reps make a reasonable amount of commission at christmas that would make it worth it?
I make no money - but only because I am my own best customer, anything I earn I seem to spend on Avon products for me
Like others have said, you get out of it what you're willing to put into it, I started with territory, and only have one family member that buys from me and I normally can make £100 per campaign.0 -

Nah I'm not, I'm only just onto C10 - it's because I'm a sales leader I get HT in advance so that they can be given to new reps ready for them placing their first orders, especially important we get them in advance if the rep is a much earlier mailplan than ourselves.
I'm actually a fairly late mailplan as I'm K - they only run A - O so I'm quite late on really.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -

If you got your delivery yesterday (Monday 30th) then you're the same mailplan as me, mailplan K.
To be honest, you don't need to know your mailplan, it's more when you're a SL you need to know, so that you know if people have earlier/later order/delivery dates than yourself. Most of the areas round me are mailplan K, so even my reps in a different area (having a different manager) have the same dates as me so it's easy to remember.
So long as you know when your order & delivery dates are - don't worry about what mailplan you are!Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -

The site was slow for me as well yesterday. "View description" and all that was fine, but when you clicked "Continue" I had to wait an age. Especially the very last "submit order" one.I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for.
I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.

All sorted now but couldn't even log into the site at times last night. Note to self - place order day before next campaign!
I also had trouble with paying my bill, 1st try refused, 2nd try cancelled. Think this was down to sheer numbers of peeps on the site. Managed to pay it after midnight so hopefully not held up my order. Avon - grrrr! Please do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.

Hi everyone,
Been a lurker reading this thread since i started avon, i'm onto my 4th campagne and going well so far i think my average earning are £100 a campagne and i am picking up new customers slowly from canvassing my allocated streets.
The moneys definatly making a difference and its not too much effort either.
I do have something i hope someone can help me with though, does anyone have a list of the samples contained in the sample pack you can buy as a new starter, a lady asked me about one i had put in her order but i cant find the sheet to figure out what it was!
Thanksand thanks to everyone in this thread as its been really helpful to me, i hope i can start contributing a bit myself soon!
