    Hi,

Sounds like you should at least give it a go. Am in Devon but one of my team members is in Windsor, which is obviously closer to you. They're thinking about going into Sales Leadership.

If you like you can apply via my own Personal Recruiting Page (not sure if I'm allowed to put the link on here so will PM you) and that will come through as a Lead to me complete with some basic information as to how positively Avon would view your application. We can then follow up the Lead or not - as you wish.

    Hope that helps.

Thank you so much for your help, I have replied and pm'd you. I hope i can get started real soon as I really could do with the money and it will give me something to do in the evenings :) xxx

Has anyone else noticed a decrease in sales compared to last year??

Me! But partly my fault. This time last year I was quite new to avon so picking up customers everywhere, whereas currently I'm due to give birth any time in the next couple of weeks so have only been giving books to established customers although I am still averaging sales of around £300 a campaign. Looking forward to getting back into the swing of things though once the baby has arrived.
    C1 = £643.17, C2= £60.51, C3 = £376.48, C4 = £331.58, C5 = £422.57

Time wise though it all depends on your situation - I spent 4.5 hours delivering 20 orders last night!! thats the problem with becoming an established rep... people stop to talk to you! suddenly your earning less per hour because you can be on someones doorstep for 30 mins being polite and theyve placed a £2.50 order so your getting pennies for all that time! lol - BUT i do also get the ones where i knock and the hubby pokes a £10 note round the door, grabs the bag and says bye and shuts the door in my face every time.... so thats £2.50 profit for a 20 second interaction:rotfl:

This struck a chord with me! I call it the 'customer care' side where you catch up with how they are, how the family is, the building work going on round the corner, where they are going on holiday etc etc.

I now set aside an afternoon/eve to do the lot in one go too (OH has to cook dinner that night :D) as you can be out an hour and discover you've only made 3/4 deliveries

On the plus side, you can find out when new people move in, when the daughter/grand daughter/neice is coming to visit, all about their friend who never gets a brochure and so on.

    Swings and roundabouts.

I have an old couple who I get regular (but not every book) orders from. I always leave them until last to deliver to as they always ask me in and have a chin-wag :rotfl: DD likes to stay outside and play with some friends who live around there so she's happy as well :rotfl:

I'm putting my c10 order in today, I have got a pile of stock which I bought and noticed that some of it is on "last chance to buy" in the book so they'll be getting returned ;) Also going to look to see whether any of the spares I have can go back according to the last invoice I can return from - creative returns love 'em!;) Also going to order some of the 1litre bubblebaths while they're cheap, I have lots of people order bubblebaths so its worth it ;) Oh well, time to work out whats what.

Yeah, sales are definitely down this year compared to last year. I have far more customers now than we did this time last year - yet sales are about the same. I have about the same of people ordering, but they're all spending that bit less so it really affects sales. Still - I'll hang in there, and when they get some more spare cash maybe they'll treat themselves :)

Just a quick question, that you knowledgeable people may know the answer to:

I think there are a few good offers in HT clearance, now, these are almost always out of stock when I receive my order. Can I do an additional order from HT only and will I get it earlier than my main order?

Good thought but, sorry, No.... the due delivery date for your current campaign will remain the same whether you input a regular or additional order.

We used to have a small window to place an additional order for your back campaign, in which case that delivery may come earlier than your scheduled delivery date for your current campaign but think that option's now been cancelled.

Know where you're coming from though and I did once start a thread (Avon Connects?) to explore the possibility of reps helping each other out if they lived close enough to the border of an earlier Mailplan. Seemed logical to me but I didn't get anywhere.

Variety of customers is part of the attraction for me (and the fact that you actually get to meet people you would not otherwise do - and, more importantly, strike up friendships). Gems are everywhere! :j

Collected my 56 books last night, 6 orders and 3 books to go back for. I have a really good f&f as well so looking a lot better than it did!

Got another 20/30 books out now to collect on Monday.
