The eye cream is a plastic container I think... the trial size at least :)

ETA - you wanted to know about the non-trial size... sorry it's early and brain has not engaged...

It says 1 of each pack per rep in the small-print, but I would wonder if that's per campaign.

It was my first time of ordering it, though. It was done as a backorder and even though it doesn't say that's not okay, I'm wondering whether the computer saw the backorder and assumed I was ordering my second pack.

    Still didn't show up today...

I've had two of the demo things before by back ordering - so thought I would have received them, I know I've got enough stuff to deliver to my customers after the orders been, I need to see how much of this stuff I have stashed away before I decide whether or not to email them on Tuesday.

Did they say they were sending it Royal Mail? Just it's quite a lot so thought it would have been a courier?

Hello, I'm afraid that I am a bit of a lurker but am always amazed at what I learn on here.

I have a rather strange question about the Rejuvenate eye cream. I've just been showing a friend the new trial pack and she asked if the eye cream usually comes in a plastic of glass container. It's the blue range for age 30+.

I have no idea why it would make a difference but it would appear to. The mind boggles at what bothers some people ;)

    Many thanks

    I've a full size one and it's in a plastic container :)

I'm starting to think it's courier - they didn't specify and said 5-7 days but I'll wait until delivery day in just over a week to see what happens. I'd heard of larger replacements being sent by courier, but don't know if that means a separate delivery or not. My courier's based about 30-45mins away so they might be holding onto it if they've no reason to come across the city.
I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for. :( I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.

    Random whinge... :D

I spot the odd book outside people's houses sometimes, several days after doing my official collection, reminding them, going back the next day, no book out. I'm either back on the street dropping books a week later or just happen to be passing. I always pick them up even if they're well expired. Now that I'm asking people not to throw them away I think people feel bad and leave them out there just in case - or the really expect me to be patrolling the streets constantly for people late leaving their books out.

But this week I went around the corner and saw a book out from a regular (who hasn't seen the request not to throw it away) and it must have been lying there for at least a week. Bag unsealed, book clearly useless to anyone who saw it - not doing me any favours giving it back to me in that state. Their house and garden are always neat and tidy as well so I thought surely they'd have thrown it out after a couple of days? I do the same with empty charity shop bags that get blown about and aren't collected - doesn't look nice lying around. It annoys me that people think I'm still responsible for collecting it when they were late leaving it out in the first place (twice) and it's just soggy, muddy rubbish by that point. Had to pause mid-round to carry it home between my fingertips because I had nowhere to put it (no wheelie bins out that were closer).

Avon spent a fortune just under 2 years ago re-doing the territory system so that SL can allocate territory to new reps, I doubt they'd have spent that much more just to get rid of the territory system.

I tend to agree Lozza, however now that potential customers can choose their rep from a list, the principle of territory will gradually be eroded. From Avon's pov, they don't want territories that are not canvassed, so Connects etc allow other, better Reps into those streets to attend to people who do want to buy products.

Thank you Moneymaker, Mrs Tine and New beginning. She's so contrary that when I tell her it's plastic she'll say she only wants glass

I have to say that I don't sell a lot of skincare but the trial size kits are a great idea.

Just done my 4th camp order and it's been the best yet although I am kicking myself for forgetting to order the Roxy purse, will I be able to back order?

If a HT says "order in campaign 5" you can backorder in campaign 6 apart from clearance. So it's just like normal backordering. You can order a demo in the current campaign, and re-order it on backorder as well.

I just looked at the Roxy purse price:
    HT - £10
    Brochure in C8 - £12 - MOV your cost £9.60, HOV your cost £9

If you're happy to wait it'll cost less, but your overall sales will be boosted by the higher brochure price.

I'm doing this with things I was going to get on demo. They're maybe 50p more (your cost) at most if I wait until the brochure, but the brochure price is at least a couple of pounds higher. Aiming for bronze PC so want to make every pound count.

There's also a new perfume in HT, priced about £4 each. But when it first appears in the brochure they're buy 1 for £8 get 2 free. So buy all 3 from HT for £12-odd, or from brochure for £6/£6.40.

It depends on how much you demo stuff and whether you need to do that in advance. I think my customers might forget if I've got something on me that they can't order yet.

Hi mandi, it may not be just that she's contrary, my aunt survived breast cancer a few years ago and was told she cant use any creams etc that come in plastic containers, only glass, are there any glass alternatives u cld suggest?
