    Thanks :)

I meant do I pay for the delivery to my house, which I then deliver myself. My sister used to have to pay for delivery to her home when she worked for the body shop. Just wondered if I'd be paying for the big box to be dropped at my door.

Delivery is free. Have a read through the front page of this thread, it covers most of the essentials. You will find many other very useful tips throughout this thread and the old one :) I would not have survived without it!!
Still looking for the plot...... Anyone seen it???

Well, OH new territory turned out quite fruitful, from the first drop of 73 only got 3 customers, 8 people filled out to not have a book anymore, one person wants next times book. The next 50 houses got us 5 customers, only 2 filled in for not having brochure, and one wanting a book next time, and got pretty much all the books back whereas quite a few outstanding on the first drop. So sales for C6 were good, about £720, though given 10% discount to the new customers for their first order, but finally our sales are back up, been very slow for the first part of the year. Hoping it carries on like this got my eye on changing my car next year so once the wedding is out of the way will be saving towards my car!

Also considering that I may have missed a trick by not brochure dropping to those who have ignored the tick box.

I give people who ignore it 3 campaigns if they're not reading the book, 6 campaigns if they are, then move them onto re-canvas once every 6 months. I'll try to speak to them during this time as well to cut to the chase a bit quicker. Until people give a definitive no I don't want to stop completely, but at the same time it seems fruitless to continue giving books every time.

Got 4 new customers from my recanvas list - actually all 4 weren't just people who didn't fill out the form, they didn't even return their first book. Plenty of requests for no more brochures but at least they let me know this time :D
I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for. :( I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.

I don't knock! I do canvass with little leaflets with main benefits listed and tick boxes for yes, please/no, thank you/already have a rep. Knocking is probably better for getting definates (sometimes folks tick nothing!) but I'm too nervous (even though I meet strange folks in their own home all the time in my other job).

Some knock and some stuff and run - do what feels right for you.

Oh and welcome :wave:to our thread :D

has anyone got any leaflets they use to canvass. ive tried to create my own but they dont look great. thinking of trying canvassing tomorrow :rotfl:

This is my note, fits an A5 sheet, done in Century Gothic font (looks just like the Avon logo font). I format it a bit better than it's shown here, with some bits in bigger sized font.

I’m an established/new Avon Rep in the area and have been allocated this street as part of my round.

YES – I would like another brochure
    - Every brochure (once every 3 weeks) ____
    - Every other brochure (once every 6 weeks) ____
    - 4 times a year ____
    - 2 times a year ____
    - Just at Christmas ____

There’s no obligation to order every time you see a brochure. I will continue to deliver brochures as frequently as you have requested even if you don’t order anything.

NO - I do not wish to receive another brochure ____

    90-DAY MONEY-BACK GUARANTEE
You can buy Avon products, open them, try them and
return them within 90 days if you’re not happy.

    PERSONAL SERVICE
I will personally co-ordinate brochure delivery, brochure collection, and deliver your order to you.
You’ll deal with the same person, every time.

    Phone e-mail

    Brochure collection day is:

You might want to add a bit to say "I already have an Avon rep" - useful to know. I'm about to go back to people who said they got it from work or family because things might have changed.

Have you been given streets to go to?

In C7 you can order from HT8 and HT9 - but not the clearance bit of HT8. Look out for small-print on anything else just in case.

You'll need to request some streets to canvass, otherwise you could end up delivering to someone elses "patch" and that can cause all sorts of problems. Just say to your asm you want some streets, and she'll give you some nearby depending on whats free.

asms can be a bit slack on it - but - if it isn't allocated to you, then a sl (either from her area or out of area) could come, sign someone up, use our special system to allocate territory, which could be what you were covering. You need to get whatever streets your doing allocated to your account, so that noone in the future gets given them x
