Still waiting on my immediate replacement following the missing items from my order last tuesday. I emailed yesterday to enquire if the order is being send by royal mail or courier and it's by royal mail. They also said to give it 10 working days. Could really do with the order asap as it's over £200 worth of products and cant afford to pay my bill until it's received! Immediate my bum!

On another note does anyone know of Instinct has been discontinued? One of my customers is after some talc but it's not one I remember seeing in the brochures. Thanks x

hi, havent had chance to have a good read through this thread but hope someone can help, im a new rep and im already confused lol,
i placed an order for campaign 6 and used book 6 for canvassing, ive just got my new books but my sl gave me book 7's and 8's, i expected to get 7's and resuse my 6's so now im confused which ones will i be able to place an order from for campaign 7, thankyou x

Yes, mine's taking a bit longer than usual this time. Can't complain because I get the suspicion I haven't been charged for it. It's the £15 Clearskin pack that was missing altogether from delivery and invoice. I e-mailed and they said it would be 5-7 working days. Territory - if your ASM says no-one's doing territory that should be a good sign you'll be able to get some, and a decent-sized area. Or they could be an ASM that tells no-one to do territory and go wherever. It looked like it was just the odd SL who did this, but a couple of people on Connects said their ASMs had said the same.

There were also a couple of posts on Connects saying their ASMs had said the days of territory were numbered. Other people asked their ASMs and they said it was a load of carp so it's anyone's guess as to what's actually going on.

Log onto your rep website and check you're definitely in campaign 7 now. If so, it looks like you got some extra free books. You can use your C7s and C6s during C7. Then in C8 it's C8s and C7s, and so on...

Avon spent a fortune just under 2 years ago re-doing the territory system so that SL can allocate territory to new reps, I doubt they'd have spent that much more just to get rid of the territory system. When its used right, its fab, my area is brilliant as my asm makes sure its up-date and chases people who go where they want so that it doesn't happen again as she knows it makes things so much easier for everyone. Other asms I've dealt with just couldn't care less, so I avoid their area like the plague!

Hi everyone, just wondered how ofetn one should recanvas territory? I have noticed on my rounds that empty houses now have people in so wondering whether I should order more books this camp and do the whole lot again with a similar covering note to igeek.

I'd use your previous campaigns books to recanvass to save spendinmore on books. I say do 5 camps in a row, then after that play it by ear. If I never get a book back, or they tell me they don't want a book, I obviously miss them out. Then very few months I deliver expired books with a leaflet attached, or again you could use previous campaign book to recanvass. People move, kids come back home, they loose there rep at work/in the family, they get a job so have more disposable income etc so it's always worth redoing your territory, if only so that people know they still have a rep for their street, then if they join they won't just think there street is free and deliver there.

Congrats on going SL, SG; got to admit the SL bag's not as good as the Demo bag but it is useful for putting SL pack sizes of books in so guess they all have their uses. Used to also take my vanity bag when I did sign up's too i.e. full of demo products to show newbies but have now come to think that's deffo 'bag overload'! :rotfl:

Thanks MC (sorry for the delayed reply but I haven't been on for a few days). SLship is a rollercoaster ride and a half!! Talk about highs and lows. Managed to get 9 on my team now, in 3 camps but have also had 1 declined and 3 leave without placing orders. The ladies I have left are all great though and doing really well. Trying to encourage them onto here (even if it is in the shadows How long have you been an SL MC?

How are you getting to Birmingham? Hopefully we will get to meet at some point as you really aren't that far away
